for me i would look into the OL, WR ,LB ,DE or even bring in a few more DT,s in but i like some of the guys we have that have stepped up for us.to me the offense is still the real issue here and the continuing developement of jason campbell as our future QB.
it doesn,t have to be in any order but i would sign one here and there in FA with the right $ and draft all over the board, move around and get your needs early rounds and late rounds and possible trades if it makes sense otherwise don,t do it all unless it makes sense for the long haul. continued stability and continuity is key here for us to continue to show progress......wait and see....

i would also look at team speed overall we need it bad..

In no particular order, I think we need the following:

O-line depth -- Stephon Heyer is a nice start. But now we need at least 2 or 3 more young guys to groom.

WR - ARE, and Moss are good, but I think we need one more reliable pass catcher. If it was up to me, it would be a tall receiver with good hands. He doesn't have to be a burner.

CB - Even if Springs comes back, I think we still need one more just in case Rogers isn't ready.

D-line - Golston, Monty, Carter aren't going anywhere. I think they'll restructure Griffin and Daniels. But I think we should draft a pass rush specialist and maybe one more tackle in case Griff gets injured.

K/P - I think both Suisham and Frost needs some competition in training camp.

i dont know that we could cut springs with Carlos not being able to play until mid season. Definately DL help, also LB help with Rocky probably out all next year. definately need some safety help, whether its FA or draft. although, Dougherty played very well the last few weeks and i believe he will make a bigger stride during the offseason.

changes - offensively - hopefully we can keep Al Saunders and have Jason able to run the entire playbook next year. This offense is on the verge of breaking out. the 3rd year in his scheme is when the changes are dramatic.

defensively - hopefully we can get back to the aggessive attacking D we used the last month or so for an entire season. I think we are much better when we are forcing the issue than we are playing the cover 2 we employed earlier in the year.

Cut Brunell (sorry we need the space) and Lloyd. Nab in FA or the draft: a #3 WR, 2 young O-linemen who will be able to start, a DE, and a DB (either a CB or a SS).

#1 Get rid of Vinny and all the other posers and hangers about and hire an actual GM (with football knowledge and experience) who will then:

- get a #1 receiver so Moss can be #2 (where he really belongs) and ARE can go to the slot (where he really belongs)
- get someone who can put real pressure on the QB to help out Carter
- draft a right tackle who can step in immediately and play (does one exist in the draft?)
- draft a big back (in the Gerald Riggs mold) who can be a consistent short yardage/goal line player and who can provide a change of pace in the middle of the field

We should cut Griffin, Brunnel, Fabini, Daniels, Springs, and Wade. We should sign Corey Williams of Greenbay, and Jared Allen. We should draft the best corner we can and concentrate on the O-line. If we can trade Wade, and Lloyd that would be great, but I doubt it.

I think we need to keep Fabini for depth. I think he has played well in place of R. Thomas and he can come in if needed. I still think Springs is our best corner, I would re-open the restructure talks. Why not pay our only real corner. Get rid of Wade if Jansen can play again. Obviously Heyer can start for Jansen if needed but why not keep Wade as a back up. Drafting O-line depth is still a necessity.

I agree with Daniels, Brunnell and Lloyd, but maybe we could also get Griffin to re-structure for D-Line depth behind Montgomery and Golstin.

Just my thoughts. It sucks we are talking about this instead of Dallas.

Someone like a Derrick Harvey?

I'm not sure if he's big enough to be a 4-3 end. I think he's only 260lbs. He looks like he fits in well as an outside backer in a 3-4. But I'm sure he still has alot of growing to do. I remember he just abused Ohio State last year so I'm sold on him. Plus he's a local DC guy. It would be a great fit. But I think I'd rather have Chris Long. Long is just like his father. Mean, nasty and he brings an attitude.

Hire SGG as the GM.
