Sure sure...of course you'll say that.

The Flyers took a game at Verizon and are coming home with an even series.

You know fans in Philly are loud and trashy too. :angry-smi
(glad I'm from Maryland after saying that)

Ovechkin has been held in check so far.

Advantage: Flyers. :)

Yeah, it's not like Ovechkin has netted a game winner or anything. And for all you Philly fans that like the fact that they split the two games in Washington, remember this. In the regular series Washington lost both games at home but won both games at Philly's place.

Caps down 4-2 right now. They're struggling...or maybe they've just hit their wall now.

I'm going to go with the latter. Watching this has been as painful as anything I can remember. I want to have faith that the Caps can turn this series around, but knowing that they've been had for like 8 out of 9 quarters is somehow not making things look bright. I can only wish that it won't be like this if we manage to make the playoffs next season. And at what point do we have to start thinking about putting Olie in for Huet? I used to have tremendous faith in him and his 1.64 (or something around that number) GAA in the regular season since coming to Washington, but this is the second time in 3 games that he's allowed 4 or more goals. My hat is off to the Flyers, they certainly have the Caps' number right now.

And their defense has been tremendous, I haven't seen anything out of our first line this entire series save for Mike Green. Not to mention they get their offense in gear so quickly it's ridiculous. Watching this series has made me hate the Flyers almost as much as any team in the NFC East.

Their D was absolutely amazing tonight. The last two games they've gotten a lead and just buckled down. That's why our 3rd period shots on goal have been so sparse. And on offense they've done a great job of screening Huet. Ugh.

This is a TUFF loss for the team. This Caps team has to play together and attack and create chaos in front of biron and fire the puck on him, stop passing and start shooting (Which I did see more of tonight, NOT ENOUGH)! But its no where near over, this game 4 Thursday they have to come out and play their butt off and leave that hole knotted up at 2 a piece , NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES!

This team has found a way to fight there way out of a hole the last month plus, I don't think they are anywhere near out of gas. I see them leaving philly knotted up at 2!

GO CAPS!

I hope to see them leaving Philly tied up, but if they lose on Thursday I'm pretty much gonna start rooting for next season, except for the tiny little shred of hope that they could pull off the somewhat impossible and win two straight to tie the series at 3 lol. Either way they have a lot of work to do, they need to practice their screening on offense and start trying to think up more ways to confuse Biron, because that's probably our best shot.

One more thing, if Huet allows 4 goals in game 4 I'm gonna start seriously pondering if they should switch to Olie. If he allows 4 goals in one quarter, which, given the fact they scored 3 in one quarter tonight, is possible, then I would definitely be on the pull Huet bandwagon.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Olie between the pipes in Game 4. It seems that the team has gone a bit flat, and a change like that could be what the doctor ordered to get the team motivated again.

Can't say the Caps aren't laying the wood on the Flyers. There have been some great hits over the course of 3 games. But now it's time to buckle down and get the Ws.

No idea what that picture was Buster lol, it hasn't worked since you posted it. Anyways, big game 4 tonight, if the Caps want to stay in it they need to win it. I hope to see Boudreau has made some changes to the lineup.

Capitals Insider (http://blog.washingtonpost.com/capitalsinsider/)

He's already moved Federov up to the First Line with Ovie and Kozlov. But he's sticking with Huet. So we shall see. Hopefully Federov can help Ovie, Kozlov and Mike Green get some scoring opportunities.
