I didn't get to catch the game last night because I was out and about, but it appears I didn't miss much. I guess the only thing that really can be said is we just need to make some changes this offseason. I'm rather sick of losing to them. I really hope Boston can get past Atlanta and f them up in the second round.

Ummm....the Hawks are looking very strong. Where's our Boston buddy?

I am assuming you are referring to me.
Sorry I wasn't around to joust verbally with you guys...I had to get an MRI on my lower back and I have been out of pocket / out of town for a couple days. I have some severe issues with my lower back and the word "disability" has been thrown around by my doctor which is scaring me at this point considering I am only 33.

Does anyone know how disability works?

ps- MRI's SUCK for people that are claustrophobic (sp?).

I would love to comment on game 6 of the C's and game 7 of the Wiz/ cavs game, but I missed them both.

We'll see what we can do. :D

You guys aren't far from being a contender. You have a decent nucleus. You need better role players, and your coaching needs to be a little tighter. There were a lot of dumb shots and wreckless plays (IMO) during your series.

Yeah, I hear ya on that one, ordinarily I'm not a claustrophobic person but everytime I take an MRI after a little bit or so I start getting a little panicky and I feel like I want to flail about but I can't lol.

Papa John's to offer Cleveland residents 23-cent pizzas

Papa John's Pizza issued an apology to Cleveland and the Cavaliers for making T-shirts with LeBron James' number and the word "crybaby" under it.

To apologize, Papa John's will sell Cleveland residents a large, one-topping pizza for 23 cents on Thursday. The 23 is an homage to James' jersey number. The company also will donate $10,000 to the Cavaliers Youth Fund.

That is one of the gayest things I have ever heard of, Washington residents should get free pizza for all those crappy calls.

Wizards confident team will resemble 2007-08 makeup

There is no use speculating whether Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison will return to the Washington Wizards next season. If the attitudes expressed Sunday are any indication, their futures with the team are a foregone conclusion.

"I think it will be the case," forward Caron Butler said. "I'm almost positive that it will be the case, that Gil and Antawn will be back in a Wizards uniform next year."

Butler's words were echoed repeatedly by his teammates. Even point guard Antonio Daniels, not one normally to wade into front office matters, said keeping Arenas and Jamison is "a must."

"Crucial is an understatement," Daniels said. "My job is to play, not to make those decisions, but it is a must. We want to make a run at something that we feel is so close."

"If I'm 100 percent, then I'm going to ask for a max," Arenas told the station. "If I'm not, then it's negotiation time. If I know my knee's not going to be 100 percent, then I'm not going to sit there and say: 'I want the max.'"

If Gil leaves, I wouldn't be completely pissed, but if Jamison does the Wizards are gonna have some trouble, he is a very good veteran with rebounding ability, shooting ability, and hopefully won't ask for much.

Yeah to be honest, I'm more worried about Antawn leaving. He was pretty much the glue that held this team together when Gil and Caron were out, and even though Caron is the better player his future with the team is pretty much certain.

ESPN - Suns reportedly let D'Antoni talk to other teams - NBA (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3381686)

Does anyone think we should go after him for head coach, because Eddie Jordan has had some problems during the playoffs, and Mike D'Antoni has had some serious success.

D'Antoni is a big favorite to go to Chicago right? Besides, what sort of "serious success" has he had?

Yeah D'Antoni is a really good coach but he hasn't won anything, he's struggled in the playoffs just as much as we have.
