Buster, you should be careful not to just link all Democrats together. You know that not all think alike. Yet your post (and if people didn't actually click on your links) makes it seem as though the Democratic Party is fully represented by insensitive, unpatriotic flag-burners.

obama personally ask me if it was OK to use that phrase:)
come on, guys. have we gotten to a point that we are so guarded in when we speak, that just about everything we say is offending someone? as far as Sarah Palin, the Dem's cannot say anything about her, without the G.O.P saying they are ripping her unfairly. or that it was a sexist remark. the fact is that Mrs Alaska is one heart beat away from RUNNING the United States. if we are going to grant her that luxury, don't we at least owe it to ourselves to find out alittle bit about her? im trying to figure out how scripted the debate between her and Joe Biden is going to be. because up till about 3 weeks ago, she said she hadn't been following the Iraq war very close. does anyone on this board actually have no problems with her running the country? an interesting side note. yesterday the McCain/ Palin ticket was here in Lancaster. Palin spoke first, for approx. 22 minutes. the John McCain spoke, for approx. 17 minutes. does this ever happen? who actually is the headliner on the ticket? the one thing that is most appalling about the election this year is that we, as Americans have sooo many issues that really need attention, and we are spending time worrying about offending someone. if she cant handle this kind of criticism, what happens when the big boys over seas start putting the pressure on her?
If she was running against Obama I would vote for her. Obama in my opinion does not have any more experience than she does. You don't need to give me a list of what he has done I know its just my opinion.

buster, i have a great idea. why not put her out into the main stream, so people can actually talk to her. and ask her questions? that's part of the reason all this bull crap is happening. and its not just Dem's attacking personally. remember the Jeremiah Wright fiasco? or attacking obama's dad for being a Muslim? aren't they considered personal attacks? does Obama have a legit driver's license? or a united states birth certificate? the attack game goes both ways. i don't know about you, but i sick of hearing the same old recycled speech that Palin gave at the convention, over and over again. i really like to know where she stands on the real issues

This is ridiculous, both Dems and Republicans do the same thing every election. They smear each other til the end and then they congratulate the winner and go home. Politics....suck. It is what it is.

I would love it if a party ran for election and just talked about what they are going to do.

Yes I pretty much know her stance But I'm still learning. I just know too much of Obama's stance so I'm not voting for him and unfortunatly McCain or Obama is all we have to choose from.

I am a Palin supporter and I think this comment has been overblown. The Republicans needs to let this slide off their backs, be the bigger people in this case. Truth be told Sarah Palin could probably care less about the comment. She's a tough lady.
Politics is dirty and seems to get dirtier every year.

As a school teacher (I work with special needs kids) I agree with Firstdown, teacher unions need to be held to higher standards and bad teachers need to find new professions.

“So Sambo beat the bitch!”

This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama’s win over Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination.

people who know her say she refers regularly to Alaska’s Aboriginal people as “Arctic Arabs” – how efficient, lumping two apparently undesirable groups into one ugly description – as well as the more colourful “mukluks” along with the totally unimaginative “f**king Eskimo’s,” according to a number of Alaskans and Wasillians interviewed for this article.
