I hope they will be forced to pass. It would be nice if we could actually put some pressure on Eli though. Our front four has put a lot of pressure on our d-backs all year. Blache believes the d-backs need to cover long enough to give the line time to get pressure. It would be nice for the line to return the favor once in awhile.

I think we all can say the DB's have played amazing even in the absences of Springs Im currently in the dark about our overall health and game status if hes ready to play . The D-line Im sad to say haven't played to my expectations mostly b/c I hoped JTaylor would be a sack machine but they can change that Sunday.

Ditto. Again, I'm wondering if Taylor getting back to his speed rush side will give us a lift there. Also Lorenzo seems to get a sack in every game he plays and don't you figure he'll get into the rotation w/ Golston and Griff ailing?

If they do, it'll be a whole different ballgame. If they do it against the Giants it's going to make me wonder what they've been waiting for. As for JT I think it's time to show he can still do it. He's in the best health he's been in since the summer by his own admission. Before he got hurt, he was knocking down a lot of passes. I hope he can do it again this Sunday. Our "D" is something like #3 in the league. With the d-backs and safetys we have, can you imagine how good our "D" would be with a pass rush?

As far as I'm concerned Lorenzo has earned a starting spot. Yeah, I do think JT would play better over the left tackle because that is where he is use to playing.

Oh yeah, w/ Plaxico out for sure we may be able to stick Springs @ FS more this game, which means Landry can hover around the line as a defacto 4th linebacker. Landry can blitz like crazy and just hunt down the ball. If this is the route Blache goes then Hall will def get more than 20-25 snaps in the game, and that's pretty exciting w/ his penchant for INTs.
(somehow I feel more "safe" w/ Springs @ FS than Landry. IMO Springs experience gives him the edge to take better angles and make plays on the ball - Landry even w/ his lightning speed has been a step too late on several receptions this year. hard to know whether it's his hamstring still lingering or just lack of experience to phish out the qb's intent)

Like you said before Goat, if Carter is hurt, why not have Evans play his regular spot and put JT in Carters spot?

I forgot about that but you're totally right. I think going against the left tackle batting the pass was often the best he could do. Really, really hoping he flashes his skills this weekend. He's been so quiet and it makes you wonder whether he's sort of moving on from the game or just finding his groove again.

Well we've played cobra a lot before and I kinda like the idea of Springs playing FS, Landry at SS, and Horton being in there to do his thing.

I don't know. I hope it's just been a combination of injury, a new system, and playing on the opposite side than he's played for most of his career. But like I said, he's healthy now and it's time to start ballin'.
