Let's see sales tax in SF and the Peninsula is 8.25% soon to be 9.25% due to state budget crisis, car registration is going to double. Housing is expensive but prices have dropped about 30-40%, thank god they repealed the extra $0.12 Cents a gallon tax that was on the original budget. Public schools suck, not like the one I attended in Rockville back in the 70's. There's a lot of negatives, but at the same lots of nice things. If he's single, he'll love it, more chicks for guys due to gay population.

Actually now that you mention it the housing thing might be a wash as even though he'll have trouble selling it the fact remains that it's also easy to buy but I still stand by the statement of house values being 3-4 times higher in California.

As for the single thing well theres a saying that even when NFL players are married they're still single. Antonio Pierce told me that one. By all accounts though Evans is married so it's not to much of a selling point for him.

Ironically though not being able to wear 92 is a huge selling point for Evans.

I'm surprised though. How do you know so much about California? :D

Evans has been solid for us. And I predict he'll thrive rushing the passer (at DE or DT) with Haynesworth attracting a lot of attention.

Ugh, 2 for 3.8. That's Hackett-esque.

On a totally unrelated note, lets spend that money on DJ Hackett.

Why is Igor still unsigned and is there any chance we go after him?

Evidence...
ProFootballTalk.com - EVANS CHOOSES NINERS (http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/03/04/evans-chooses-niners/)

PFT is inadmissable here on the Warpath and should only be used to evaluate what leads should be followed.

Like I mentioned on another thread. If you haven't heard anything by now then chances are nothing's going to happen on the "player x" front.

Well the bottom line is that aside from Daniels, who i figure we'll always be able to re-sign if we want, the rest our our LDE candidates are pretty paltry. Most are really smallish w/ the exception of...

Is Orakpo a LE or RE?
Would we be stuck again with two high paid RE's?

I think Orakpo can play LE. He may only be 265 lbs now, but he's real strong. Taylor was only 240 and I think Haynesworth will be on that side too now.
