It's Over: Cutler Going to Chicago

Am I missing something or was the talk about the Skins going after Cutler just a rumor and is there a link that shows for FACT the Skins wanted him. We all know if Snyder wants his man he gets him so what evidence is their we wanted Cutler.

It's pretty well established it was much more than just a rumor. Most of the league guys in the know like Peter King, John Clayton, etc. have confirmed that it was basically the Skins, Bucs, and Bears in serious running for Cutler.

According to Peter King our offer really wasn't the issue, McDaniels simply preferred Orton to run his offense so once that was decided other offers really didn't matter.

Interesting. How should that make us feel about Campbell?

The Skins called around, and no one would even give us a 2nd rounder for Campbell. Matt Schuabb was worth two 2nd rounders, for goodness sakes!

If professionals (owners, coaches, and GMs) who dont wear B&G glasses dont view Campbell as being better than Kyle Orton or worth a 2nd rounder, that tells us alot about the kind of QB we have.

That said, Campbell has displayed alot of class in all this. The unreasonable part of me is hoping he lights it up this year and tells Snyder to screw off when they try to sign him to an extension next year.

I think it's just a matter of him thinking Orton is a better fit for his offense.

If JC’s latest quotes are accurate, he speaks of his trust in Zorn on several occasions. What struck me the most was that he never mentioned Snyder or Ceratto in a sentence containing the word “trust” or “honest[y]” or people that “mattered” to him. I believe ownership and management have a major bridge to repair in regaining the respect and TRUST of JC.

I hope all you fairweather, flaky, cowboy loving, Jason Campbell(solid NFL QB) bashing/hating, so called competative football fans feel stupid. Listening to Espn sportcenter jerks and idiots gets you know where! This should be a lesson to you. Watch and love Redskin football and don't jump on every reality show, soap opera you see on TV.
