SS, I was asking if this whole "let's get Cutler" situation was all Snyder, and VC and Zorn had to go along. And now they're like, "well we couldn't get him, let's move on with what we were planning on doing"?
I think I answered your question in another thread

Everyone is saying good, But how the hell do we handle Campbell now?
Maybe Campbell realizes his future is at stake, no more free ride. I'm looking forward to a great year from him.
And looking at the cutler trade, orton to me is almost a nonfactor. that was all bout the picks.

Well at least we found out that other teams really don't have much interest in Campbell so if he has a strong year his agent won't be able to leverage us into a mega deal because we will be able to call BS when the agent says there are many teams that really want him.
I think in fact I know that I'm just looking for some kind of silver lining.
Technically if he does have a strong year many teams will change their mind about him. However he'll be a restricted free agent so our front office holds all the cards as well as the big red button.
Hopefully though Campbell finds a way to summon up his inner 2004 Drew Brees.

Jason Campbell will not be the starting QB this season. Redskins will pursue USC's Sanchez or a seasoned veteran QB. It is very clear that Mr. Snyder wants no part of JC and will do anything to replace him. Stay tuned.
It will be interesting to see how this unfolds. Clearly they have/had no faith or intention on keeping JC around at all, now its clear to all why he had no contract extension. He was never in the long or even short term plan, after last seasons finally.
Can they work together this season, it's anyone's guess....?

I saw that, nevermind.
Well here's Campbell's answer after the storm died down...
Redskins Insider - Campbell Says He's Ready to Move Forward (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/campbell-says-hes-ready-to-mov.html)
It's funny how fans are waiting for Campbell to react the way that Cutler did, after being fan of a team that has had good character guys like Art Monk and Darrell Green. Campbell is a professional and is moving on. The team will come out and re-state that he's their QB and move on about their business.

It's probably been said a million times already but I have to say that it's amazing how well Campbell is handling this. I honestly hope he makes me eat my words next year for supporting Cutler. Anyway time to move on and look for the next great Redskins Tackle at 13.
