That used to be true. Now they are inviting folks for at least both Thursday and Friday nights and my understanding is that T-bone got a Friday invite.

Right they doubled the invite list. But I think Tebow actually gets the option of what night he'd like to attend. I suspect he'll be strongly encouraged to be there on Friday night

You just love to ridicule anyone who likes Bradford don't you?

Don't worry I'm starting an The Official Sam Bradford Pro Day presented by Ruhskins Thread next week

Sweet!!!

And I kid the Bradford camp. If he's drafted I'll support him just like I do every Redskins player.

I really think the most likely scenario is Okung at #4 and a QB in the 2nd round, so it's natural that the Skins are doing their homework on Tebow. Still don't think we would take him, but it doesn't hurt to work him out.

IF the guy has to work on his mechanics I say let it go. IF we need a good QB most of the pack are seen as low rounders. I still don't see why a lot of guys think the QB pickings is really slim. There are at least 16 decent QBs from major Div IA programs coming out, most with some potential at becoming good pros. The top guys are from the biggest programs with the most national exposure. I don't see how that should automatically put one as being a franchise guy and the other a goat. At least a few of the others(non hyped QBs) that are coming out can be starters. I mean look at the overall QB picture in the NFL. Would you want Dan Lefevour your QB or Russell? Delhomme or Stull? Anderson or Snead? All 3 of these college guys have the potential to be better than at least half the starting NFL QBs of 2009. My stock on Bradford is rising, but you still have to wonder how much of his success was him being a Sooner in a conference not known for its defensive work. Same goes for Tebow.

Thank you for the correction. Yeah, if he's smart he'll choose Friday.

That's just awkward. What if a guy gets invited, chooses Friday, then gets drafted on Thursday (like if Jacksonville takes Tebow in the 1st round and he's at his hotel room in NYC)? Or vice versa? Unless I was a lock to be a top 20 pick, I'd decline and stay at home. It was so uncomfortable watching Aaron Rogers and Brady Quinn sit there alone just waiting to be picked. Who wants to take a chance at that embarrassment?

I personally like the way Joe Thomas did it. He was a top 5 pick, and instead of going to NYC to mingle with all the media and other BS, he went fishing with his Dad on draft day. I'd rather be on my couch surrounded by trusted and loved people. Eff the limelight.

I doubt Tebow would do that. Tebow has been a media darling. Although I wonder if he'll pull a Quinn and be there all the way until the end.

yeah i really liked the way thomas did it too. i imagine, once a player is drafted that high, life and the simple things like fishing with your pop become harder and harder to fit in.

I'm against taking a QB in the first. With that said, it's not going to kill me either if Shann-a-Allen picks one of these guys. With the way things are going in this rebuilding process, I'm prepared to tough out a season or two before I'm ready to judge the final product. I'm equally confident that Shann-a-Allen are more than competent enough to do the job.

I can go fishing in a 16 acre lake with my stepfather and kid bros anytime that I'm in town

I'd be pulling those guys to NYC for a weekend of fun :)
