Being at the draft itself is painfully boring
Updated: Redskins to hold private workouts with Tebow and BradfordSmootSmack 03-19-2010, 12:14 PM Being at the draft itself is painfully boring over the mountain 03-19-2010, 12:29 PM I can go fishing in a 16 acre lake with my stepfather and kid bros and OTM anytime that I'm in town I'd be pulling those guys to NYC for a weekend of fun :) there, i fixed it for ya and i accept! shoot im think im gonna get some lines wet this weekend. maybe some trout fishing up a lil gunpowder or something. YEEEHAWW! 47FAN 03-19-2010, 12:42 PM i guess no word on porter yet? has he worked out yet? BigHairedAristocrat 03-19-2010, 12:43 PM Being at the draft itself is painfully boring What? you mean Vinny never asked for your input on picks? murphy196 03-19-2010, 07:05 PM Drafting Tebow means more years of misery with a shitty QB! I think Shanny is smarter than that. GTripp0012 03-19-2010, 07:51 PM As does not drafting lineman or receivers to support the next quarterback. DBUCHANON101 03-20-2010, 02:44 PM Why bother? Bradford will be gone and the Skins have little to nothing to give to trade up. I thought the Skins were done with foolish moves. OT ALL THE WAY Bushead 03-21-2010, 04:08 PM There is an article on ESPN's homepage saying that Tebow is becoming the Skin's back up plan but unfortunately it is only for insiders. Can any one share it with us? Can any one share it with us? What access does ESPN have? They are always bashing Snyder. I am going to be pissed if we end up with friggen' Tebow. Ruhskins 03-21-2010, 05:14 PM What access does ESPN have? They are always bashing Snyder. I am going to be pissed if we end up with friggen' Tebow. Here's the text from that article: With the speculation that the Rams might be taking Sam Bradford No. 1 overall in April, the other team that thinks quite highly of him risks missing out. We've been hearing for a while now that the Redskins value Bradford as a potential franchise quarterback, and that he would not get past their spot in the first round if he lasted that far. So what happens if the Skins are faced with a draft board with Bradford's name crossed off? It could come down to Notre Dame's Jimmy Clausen versus Oklahoma State OT Russell Okung. Below, ESPN NFC East blogger Matt Mosley weighs the options. UPDATE: The Redskins may be developing their backup plan if Bradford is off the board (as expected) by the time they pick at No. 4. Coach Mike Shanahan and GM Bruce Allen are part of a team that is scheduled to visit with Tim Tebow in Gainesville, presumably to decide whether they want to pick him in April's draft (possibly in the second round) in the event they draft neither Bradford nor Clausen. If they were to take Tebow, he'd become the second former Gators quarterback on the roster behind Rex Grossman (and we thought the Steve Spurrier era was over in Washington). Matt Mosley Will the Skins go conservative? "Taking Clausen in the first round might be the most exciting move the Redskins could make, but acquiring a cornerstone of the offensive line will provide a better foundation." Don't see anything about bashing Snyder in here...Mosely makes an argument for Okung I see. |
