Redskins Pre-Draft Visits and Private Workouts: 2011 VersionSmootSmack 04-19-2011, 12:18 PM A grain of salt? Then why read into all of the other "rumors" going around? What? You've totally lost me MTK 04-19-2011, 12:24 PM diehard lost me too. Anyway, workouts are workouts. Don't read too far into them. Shanahan has a history of drafting guys he doesn't even work out. And a lot of times teams are just doing their due diligence, and filing away this info for the future when these guys are free agents or are division rivals. SmootSmack 04-19-2011, 12:29 PM Here's a note. Of the players who were invited for private team visits last year, less than 20% were drafted by the team that invited them for a visit diehard 04-19-2011, 12:40 PM Well that puts in all into perspective. Leave it up to me only to think this thread was all about prospects the team was actually interested in drafting. I'm such a retard. Excuse me please. SBXVII 04-19-2011, 01:45 PM Ok so my question now is who all actually has been to Redskins Park for a visit? and who was on the list and who showed up yesterday for their visit? I know Dalton is reported to have a work out yesterday so did he show up? how did he look? and who else showed up for a work out? All we got last week or the week before was Dalton and several other players would be attending Redskins Park for a work out. Who are the several other players? ... that actually showed up. SmootSmack 04-19-2011, 01:54 PM Dalton and Julio Jones were there yesterday. How they did I don't know Most of the guys mentioned have been to visit already. Von Miller is today I believe (or maybe it was yesterday). Tyron Smith is tomorrow (or maybe it's today). Quinn is late this week I think CultBrennan59 04-27-2011, 01:59 AM QB Cam Newton - QB - Auburn Andy Dalton - QB - TCU Ricky Stanzi - QB - Iowa Tyrod Taylor - QB - Virginia Tech RB Ryan Williams - RB - Virginia Tech Kendall Hunter - RB - Oklahoma State Evan Royster - RB - Penn State Mikel Leshore - RB - Illinois Mark Ingram - RB - Alabama Damien Berry - RB - Miami WR/TE AJ Green - WR - Georgia Julio Jones - WR - Alabama OL Tyron Smith - OT - USC Nate Solder - OT - Colorado Johnny Culbreath - OT - South Carolina State Danny Watkins - OT/OG - Baylor Mike Pouncey - OG/OC - Florida Stefen Wisniewski - OC - Penn State DL Kenrick Elllis - NT - Hampton Nick Fairley - DT - Auburn Marcell Dareus - DT - Alabama Ryan Kerrigan - DE/OLB - Purdue Brooks Reed - DE/OLB - Arizona DaQuan Bowers - DE/OLB - Clemson LB Von Miller - OLB - Texas A&M Quan Sturdivant - ILB - Florida State DB Prince Amukamara - CB - Nebraska Jimmy Smith - CB - Colorado So word around the NFL now is that we Could trade up to get Gabbert, yet according to you all, we haven't met with him yet.. Either a smoke screen or another Cutler situation. SmootSmack 04-27-2011, 02:02 AM Quinn should be on that list as well. But notice Locker, Cam Jordan, and Watt aren't on the list either CultBrennan59 04-27-2011, 02:17 AM ^ Mallett ?? Does he go on the list also?
