Ruhskins 10-23-2011, 05:08 PM Someone said Cam would go to the probowl if he played against the skins 10 more times and I was just saying Cam's been tearing up everyone, so in "defense" of the defense, let's not make it seem like a magical one-time game.
Agreed, Carolina has been playing well. As I said before, if they had a running game in the first couple of games, they would have a better record. Looks like they found their running game against us.

Mike Shanahan when asked if John Beck is his starter next week: "Are you joking?" Then he said "next."
Brody81 10-23-2011, 05:09 PM Paulsen just said the Panterns are a underrated team and very good....F-That... How about saying your pissed you lost and it doesn't matter who you play you feel you should win.
SirClintonPortis 10-23-2011, 05:10 PM I'm pretty sure I mentioned TO was a band-aid on a gaping wound. TO was never meant to be a long term option, he's meant to be a stop gap, so that next year we can focus on drafting or signing a young WR.
In that case, T.O's role is to play as badly as possible so he isn't re-signed and he gets us a higher draft pick.
Or, instead of T.O, we steal random PS'ers from various teams after cutting Moss, Gaffney, and Stallworthless. We also would get a higher pick and see what should stick.
Rubbing salt into the wound is what would help us land that next great WR, not trying to mend it.

That same logic could be used for QB. Since that's probably more of an issue than the WR spot.
Big C 10-23-2011, 05:12 PM I knew Barnes was a POS when people kept saying "he woulda been a second or first round pick if it wasnt for an injury"
big red flag for a bust. he's flat out garbage
i agree for the most part. i would not say he is garbage, but he is really a special teamer at this point and has the potential to maybe be a 4th or 5th corner, nothing more. he should be showing more potential by now and he is not.

I agree with you completely on this what to do with WR debate. Why bring in TO for any reason? We drafted a ton of WRs and I would much rather get them in the game.
I feel that Shanahan will make that shift if the playoffs become out of reach.
Skins4Eva 10-23-2011, 05:14 PM After todays game it's obvious Beck is the least of our problems. Thats a scary thing to have to admit. But true. WTF happened to our D?
I predicted this loss today. Had a bad feeling about this game all week. While I did expect a loss, I did not expect our defense to get abused the way it did. I also did not realize just how bad our receivers are. I live in Charlotte and got tickets to the game. All of is Redskins fans, including myself, were just totally dejected by this effort. There is always next year. We suck. The fact that some people always say crap like, 'Stay positive', blah blah blah. What team are you watching. We are terrible.

For the first time all season, they gave out in all four quarters of the game. In every game leading up to today, they've either held teams to field goals (Dallas) or they've been good for shutting opponents down for almost a complete half (Giants, Rams, Eagles). They've kept us in practically every game until today.
At some point, your offense needs to take over and win the game for the team.
Chico23231 10-23-2011, 05:15 PM man when the injury bug bites its deadly. We gotten crushed by injury the last couple weeks.
