I'm sending a polite but strident fan letter to the NFL offices tomorrow. The situation is beyond ridiculous.

Yes it is

I was listening to the game last night on the radio and Boomer Esiason went off on the refs. He was unloading on them, every time he would bashem i would think damn i cant believe he just said that!!! And his partner(I think it was Ian Eagle) would take the high road every time.

Let's see what the league's reaction to all the post play altercations are. If they respond with heavy fines on players that were obviously wrong, but no penalty was called, ie the rolling up on Fletcher, then maybe they can impose some sort of calm and order from above. If, on the other hand they just sit with their heads in the sand, this coming week could be even worse. I don't see how that is possible:(

How about this MNF debacle so far? Ugly.

Good. They need to be embarrassed. Sad they are greedy pieces of shit that want to squabble over money when they do nothing but sit in a box on Sunday afternoon.

it's amazing how much your hatred for the owners seeps through nearly every post of yours.

That said, they need to stop this ref madness soon.

No. I just hate greedy assholes. I have no problem with people being rich, but when there are 10 marbles on the table and you want to grab them all and do less of the work, I have a huge problem with that. I always will. When these guys are willing to risk their future health for their money, then I'll respect them.

It was beyond the worst officiated football game I've ever witnessed on TV, it might have been the worst officiated pro sporting event in the HISTORY of televised sports.

And I've watched Angel Hernandez ump baseball games...

It was a three ring circus from start to finish, and I can't imagine the NFL isn't meeting secretly right now to try and figure out how to get out of the mess they've created without appearing to cave in and give the real refs everything they want. (which isn't much, it boils down to them not wanting to lose their already earned penchant plans, while being willing to let new hires not have penchants). Greedy nose-despite-face hubris on the part of the rich douche bags who happen to own the golden goose.

LOL! I had to share this with you guys. There is ONE NFL fan who must not know anything about the game, or is deaf, dumb, and blind. Got this from another discussion forum:

I've watched several games and, honestly, haven't missed the "real" refs at all. At least they aren't as bad as the NBA refs yet.

I'll admit, I don't watch the NBA so I can't really comment on that part of his post, but if one pays any ounce of attention to the NFL, they can't honestly say these refs are no worse than the regulars.

honestly between the games i watched sunday and last night.... im disgusted... i'm going to hersey park next sunday with the gf, not just cuz she begged me to and sundays are the only days the free tix are good for, but because football is making me sick right now... i havent missed a redskins game in like 10 years, and honestly right now, i almost dont even feel remorsefull, and alot of this is because of the refs shitty performance.

After last night something really needs to be done. That was ridiculous. The games are going well over 3 hours. I turned the game off and watched Rocky 3.
