Im sure you'll have tear stains on it blaming Sundays loss on refs. :madani:

Wow. You might want to check your facts if you're going to call people out. Nothing worse than calling people out and then looking uninformed. If you'll look at my previous posts on the subject (I doubt you'll take the time to do this tbh) you will see I've been pretty vocal about my stance on this situation and I thought I made it clear I wasn't blaming the loss on the refs, but apparently I haven't made it clear enough since you decided to waltz in here and accuse me of blaming this loss on the refs.

And you know what? Since I'm a nice guy, I will actually repost my thoughts on this subject just for you. Again, I doubt you will actually read them, but it can't hurt to try. I eagerly await your next response, which will probably ignore everything I've just written in favor of another inane response.

During the game at least twice I heard announcers say that when asked the Rams sideline stated nothing was physically wrong with Jackson. If Fischer changed the story later that's his deal.

I have no idea what you're talking about otherwise....just lots of randomness there. Bottom line we we're soundly outcoached in all facets of the game i.e. special teams, offense and defense. Any discussion of the refs is just making excuses.

I think I'm just about done with this argument. We're not on the same page at all. You seem to think I'm blaming the refs for this loss, and as is the case anytime we lose, you're putting it all on the coaches. The sad part is that for the most part I agree with you, I think Has' inability to adjust to Bradford picking apart our zone schemes, combined with their gameplan to get the ball out quickly, is what cost us the most, along with some timely plays like the punt block and RG3's pick. The majority of that falls on the coaches.

My point in regards to this thread is that I don't like the way the refs can't control the players. The constant cheap shots, post-whistle baiting, and a general lack of control means that sooner or later it's going to get worse, and someone's either going to get injured or the refs will soon start missing easy calls and it will cost a team a game. It's not about the actual calls as it is about the safety of the players and the ability of the refs to keep the game moving in a timely fashion. And they are failing in that aspect so far.

But please, keep telling me how this is all the coaches' fault and Jeff Fisher was the epitome of calm, as were his players. Tell me that the Rams' backup tackle slipped and hit Fletcher after the whistle and that it wasn't a blatant cheap shot, or that Robert Quinn didn't push RG3's face into the ground after his sack, or that the Rams players weren't constantly talking shit after the whistle in an effort to bait us, or even that they weren't taking every opportunity to get every late hit possible, because all that just didn't happen right?

I even bolded the relevant parts for you. :) You see? Reading is fundamental.

Alright fine the jig is up. I think it's all their fault. They told Danny Amendola how to exploit our zone scheme, and they were the ones that made RG3 throw to the defender, and they missed the block that led to the blocked punt, and they were the ones taunting Josh Morgan until his poorly aimed throw hit Cortland Finnegan, and they were the ones encouraging Jim Haslett to stick with his game plan, and so on so forth. It's all on them. Those bastards. :cheeky-sm

honestly the amount of non-calls on holding on the rams while mr. amedoula was burning Hasletts RETARDED 10yd cusion like he has every other ****ing year we have played against him..... pissed me off as well... lets just allow the rams to neck tie redskins players all afternoon and hang on jerseys and shit.... i blame haslett alot more than the refs but still a shitty game no doubt and I propose a nation wide blackout!

this loss is on the D, not the refs. the refs were terrible... really really terrible, but it bit both ways. we probably got the better end of their craptitude honestly.

griff looked good, our D was beyond bad, and losing 2 of our front 7 is just wow. when it rains it pours. I think if garcon was healthy we probably would have won, but injuries are part of the game.

congrats to JF and bradford (and their a-hole WR :P). they were coached well and executed.

^ Yes. Fans make the NFL possible. Perhaps enough fan+media outrage will get the owners off of their duffs. At worst case, a letter couldn't hurt.

This makes me angry.

After flagging Morgan, refs let Chris Long get away with taunting | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/09/17/after-flagging-josh-morgan-refs-let-chris-long-get-away-with-taunting/)

Immediately after Morgan got his penalty, Rams defensive end Chris Long stood in front of the Redskins’ sideline, appearing to yell at Redskins players and pointing at his helmet, as if to say, “Use your head.” Long’s actions were a clear violation of the NFL’s definition of unsportsmanlike conduct, which prohibits “Using abusive, threatening, or insulting language or gestures to opponents” and “Using baiting or taunting acts or words that engender ill will between teams.”

So, you say, this is yet another example of a player committing a penalty that the officials didn’t see? Nope. The officials did see it. Here’s a brief clip that shows Long making the gesture toward the Redskins’ sideline and an official coming in and telling him to stop. What that brief clip doesn’t show is that after the official told him to stop, Long did stop — for about one second, before walking back toward the Redskins’ sideline and gesturing again, all in plain sight of the official who had just told him to stop.

It would be one thing if Long had simply made a brief gesture or a quick comment to a Redskins player in the heat of the moment after Morgan’s penalty. But Long made the gesture repeatedly, stopped for a moment and then went right back to doing it after an official specifically told him not to, right in front of that official.

If the officials had properly enforced the rule against taunting and thrown the flag on Long, the Redskins would have gotten the 15 yards back, and would have been right back in range for a 47-yard game-tying field goal. Instead, the Redskins missed on their attempt at a 62-yard field goal.

"If the officials had properly enforced the rule against taunting......"

But they didn't, the Skins lost, move on.
