Id like to know the percentage of NFL players who smoke weed in the offseason. Any clue, guesses?
Im gonna say 30%
As to what you relayed about Alfmo, awesome! If defenses have to respect Alfmo as a pass catcher, things get groovier for us.
As to your question, IMO way higher than 30%.
I'd say 60-70% smoke weed

wow...man that ton of guys and weed
Disappointed in Breeland, didn't he see what happened to Tanard Jackson? Stupid is as stupid does. He better get his shit together quick or he won't be around, the good thing out of this is that it open a spot for Crawford or Minnifield due to suspension.
A 1st offense won't get him suspended.

So you guys think that over half of the NFL smokes weed? Wow! I would think, at most, maybe between 35-45%.

i partake but ....
even if it was legal, i wouldnt allow my players to do it during football season.
it shows a lack of discipline and commitment. it will make your brain foggy in the morning, it will make you eat munchies and play madden until 4 am, it will effect your short term memory to a small degree.
being 22-23 does not excuse a professional athlete from not being 100% committed to being the very best player he can be.
in the offseason or only the night after a game could i understand and justify it ... but in training camp? when you havent proven yourself to be a contributing player or teammate others can rely upon?
certainly not the end of the world but i want 52 players with a drive to excel, to eat sleep and shit football when it is football season .... and guess what?
its football season. time to put your hard hat on and earn that money and fame.
show your commitment or i will show you the GD door.
give me 52 RG3s and London Fletchers and I will show you an over-achieving team with limitless potential.
You're never ever going to have 52 RG3's and London Fletcher's on any roster. You're always going to have few guys that party. Come Sunday night after a game, win or a loss, guys are going to let their hair down. Hell The Hogs would pound beers after practice in a shed.

I always wondered why the Shanahan's never tried to develop Morris in that area. Terrible coaching!
Shanny's offense just didn't throw to backs much, did he ever have a back that caught many passes?

Given the fact we're talking about young guys straight out of college and how more common and accepted it's becoming, I'd say the % is higher than the rest of society.

Did you ever make any mistakes when you were in your early 20's? I guess you were Mr. Perfect. Right? Cause you sure as hell come off as someone who seems like you've never done anything wrong. Lol.
Also Breeland is not a camp fodder. He's making the team.
Well, whenever I took a job that required me to do drug testing, I stopped smoking weed until I was at one that didn't have drug testing. It's not about being perfect or making mistakes. It's about being smart and know when you can and can't do things, and the consequences involved if you so choose to do them.
In the ordinary world, those guys are fired point blank for failing a drug test. There are no 3-4 chances to fall back on. These guys have been sheltered their whole life, and allowed to do what they want (pretty much) as long as they played good.
I have no sympathy for idiots that don't recognize the type of opportunity they have that only very few could even dream of.
Maybe he does make the team, maybe he doesn't. Generally a low round pick has slim chances of making the squad. Good thing for him our CBs suck. (beyond Amerson/Hall)
