Dude is a safety. You're last line of defense. Make the tackle. Just not a fan of Rambo and if we had any kind of depth at that position he wouldn't be on the team. Time for some Nachos!

If you watch the play, you will see that Hall does not line up on the right side, where he should be (we don't have corners swap sides this year). Then, as the play develops, he just hangs around and never covers anyone.

Hall is the culprit.

Ah, okay. Thanks.

I tend to think Rambo is the type of safety that should be depth. the only question I have is why doesn't he play ST? There would be lots of opportunities for tackling practice there! Which is also a bit worrisome, because unless your a stud safety you would think they would be a natural ST add on.

i see rambo's ceiling being a depth guy .. who doesnt play specials.

his natural position is FS? from what little I have seen he reads and reacts late and doesnt do a great job of tracking the ball in the air. ..... yeesh. i thought for sure he was more a SS.

on that long TD he sd he lost tracking on the player bc he was staring into the backfield. he looked like a person driving and texting ... just drifting away while he was distracted only paying attention to the QB.

but i dont blame rambo. he is what he is. he is only doing what is asked of him .. which is more than should be asked of him.

itd be great if we found some hidden 6th round guys to develop into solid starters but that is the exception not the norm .. rambo isnt showing flashes and thomas cant stay on the field.

The funny thing about this whole Rambo conversation is that a lot of people here, and other skins fans in general, wanted to take Rambo in the 2nd or 3rd round. Some were freaking out when we got him in the 6th. I think a lot are remembering the "draft experts" having him a lot higher than the 6th round so still grade him out as if he went that high.

Jason Hatcher looks like everything Redskins hoped he would be (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/wp/2014/09/10/jason-hatcher-looks-like-everything-redskins-hoped-he-would-be/)

Let's talk about some Hatcher and the job he's doing.

He was a poor man's Watt in the Houston game. Got tired too quickly, but he's obviously a huge help when fresh. Honestly I wasn't expecting a lot out of him at age 32, so I'm quite pleased. Just sucks that his sack was taken away.

Fitz had all day to throw on that play. Where was the pass rush?

Something I didn't realize until I read Haslett's quotes in this article (http://www.redskins.com/news-and-events/article-1/Coordinator-Roundup-Redskins-Jaguars/45866b59-166d-4ee5-b7a6-2b8c6f131546) is that both Cofield and Golston got hurt on Fitzpatrick's touchdown pass. Is that true? If so, no wonder Fitzpatrick had all day to throw.
