Redskins vs Rams pre game threadkingj 09-19-2015, 04:51 PM I guess we could hope for karma biting fisher in the ass. redskinsfan1980 09-19-2015, 04:52 PM I guess superior means something different to you than me. I would say the Patriots that have averaged 11 wins a year since 2000 are far superior to a Redskin team that has finished in last place more often than not in that time span and average 6 1/2 wins. If you don't think the Redskins lack talent (especially depth) you must be taking your bathroom breaks when they have been covering kicks the last couple years. They are getting blocked, reacting slow and getting faked out of their shoes. Nothing fixes those problems other than more talented players. Yes the Patriots have average 11 wins per season but they still beatable. Their defense can be exploit. They can be passed on and ran on. The Steelers proved that. Tom Brady can be pressured and their running game can be shut down. If the Patriots was truly a superior team this wouldn't be possible. Of course we need more talent on this team. However that does mean we don't have any talent. Execution trumps talent any and every Sunday. The Patriots are a perfect examples of this. I actually bet anything that the Rams have way talent that the Patriots however they haven't been anywhere close the having their success. sevier2 09-19-2015, 04:57 PM The Rams are in the same category as the Dolphins to me. Not sure when they became world beaters or anything. The Skins are capable of winning this one. But, but they beat the Seahawks! And they have a pass rush! Plus Jeff Fisher last year trolling us blah blah blah! No, it's a very winnable game. Cousins has a quick release which should give us a good chance to get the ball out and make plays. I also think our defense has improved and the Rams offense isn't anything to panic about. We know Foles, we can get to him. skinsfan69 09-19-2015, 06:56 PM The Rams are in the same category as the Dolphins to me. Not sure when they became world beaters or anything. The Skins are capable of winning this one. I kind of feel the same way. This is a winnable game. SirLK26 09-19-2015, 08:10 PM Of course it is, every game is "winnable." Doesn't mean the chances aren't low. skinsy 09-20-2015, 12:21 AM Rams offense is actually worse than the Dolphins, they really don't have a playmaker. Their defensive front seven is significantly better than the fins and possibly the NFLs best, but their secondary is nothing to write home about. If Kirk gets rid of it quick, we should be in the game because we'll finally have good field position with our D against their O and our new kicker getting touch backs. OnceWeWereKings 09-20-2015, 07:40 AM I really hope our ST takes care of business..I don't want us to give up a td return every week. With Austin returning for them.......I'm worried about it. NC_Skins 09-20-2015, 11:51 AM Wrong thread. Hog1 09-20-2015, 05:44 PM Respectfully disagree. We can beat them. This is a different team than last year. YOU are wise........ |
