Irrefutable 03-09-2016, 07:10 AM Janoris Jenkins to the Giants EARTHQUAKE2689 03-09-2016, 08:03 AM Chris Ivory to the Jags metalskins 03-09-2016, 08:37 AM Totally stupid question, but how is it that all of these guys are getting signed or agreeing to contracts with other teams before the start of free agency? Alvin Walton 03-09-2016, 08:43 AM Totally stupid question, but how is it that all of these guys are getting signed or agreeing to contracts with other teams before the start of free agency? They are not signed. But you can negotiate earlier now that the tampering rules are relaxed. So the deal gets "locked in" earlier than we are used to. Most of those will sign at 4:00 today. metalskins 03-09-2016, 08:55 AM They are not signed. But you can negotiate earlier now that the tampering rules are relaxed. So the deal gets "locked in" earlier than we are used to. Most of those will sign at 4:00 today. OK, that makes sense. I didn't realize they had relaxed the tampering rules. Kind of takes the "excitement" out of free agency. Chico23231 03-09-2016, 09:08 AM ESPN's Ed Werder reports the trade sending CB Byron Maxwell and WLB Kiko Alonso to the Dolphins is "considered dead." The two teams also would be swapping first-round picks in the deal with the Eagles getting the Dolphins' No. 8 overall pick and Miami moving back to No. 13. It was pure highway robbery by Eagles GM Howie Roseman just to get Dolphins czar Mike Tannenbaum to take the contracts of Maxwell and Alonso, let alone moving up in the first round. It appears after a couple days of thought that Tannenbaum is possibly smartening up and getting out of this one. The reason the deal is on life support is allegedly the Dolphins' concern with Maxwell's shoulder. You know I've been thinking lately " WTF is Miami doing? They seem completely brainless" And now in the bold, everything makes sense. That guy is a complete clown Chico23231 03-09-2016, 09:17 AM Chris Ivory to the Jags DUDE...They just drafted TJ Yeldon????? WTF are the Jags doing? Ian Rapport is saying they are giving Ivory 6 million per!!! lololololololololololololololololololol :laughing2 oh man, Im so glad we aren't dumb anymore TheMalcolmConnection 03-09-2016, 09:20 AM The Dolphins and Jags SO remind me of us a few years back. INSANITY. Meks 03-09-2016, 09:23 AM DUDE...They just drafted TJ Yeldon????? WTF are the Jags doing? Ian Rapport is saying they are giving Ivory 6 million per!!! lololololololololololololololololololol :laughing2 oh man, Im so glad we aren't dumb anymore Becuz its hardly a one back league anymore not to mention ivory is a good change of pace to yeldon... may have overpaid a bit but smart solid move. TheMalcolmConnection 03-09-2016, 09:24 AM Yeldon was one of those guys who could handle the load though. It's like just because you have the cap space, doesn't mean you should be stupid with it. Dunno. Just think you could get your change-of-pace guy in the draft and pay a fraction of that. |
