Schneed10 04-21-2016, 10:44 AM Line up against OBJ twice a year!! Chico23231 04-21-2016, 10:49 AM I wouldn't be a big fan of this move...its gonna be a big number. Rather pay Muhammed Wilkerson or make a move for him Alvin Walton 04-21-2016, 11:29 AM That's how we do, SCOT!!! GET HIM! Report: Redskins 'Expressing Interest' In Josh Norman (http://www.redskins.com/news-and-events/article-1/Report-Redskins-Expressing-Interest-In-Josh-Norman/1c7b0fef-bd10-43f6-9a89-dda9a38acb48) *WAVES HAND* This isnt the Vinny Cerrato GM you're looking for. Evilgrin 04-21-2016, 11:34 AM Like half the NFL is interested in him, I'd want him but not for 15 million per year. That Guy 04-21-2016, 11:42 AM Cut Andre Roberts if cap room is needed, just get it done! pretty sure we haven't cut roberts because he's still injured and that's a thing. at least last i heard. as far as norman, he is a great player, and even if we have to cut a player like culliver to make room, it's an upgrade. if you're a team, you would want to know why he was cut though. i mean, if the panthers found out he's about to get a 16 game suspension for peds, well... that's important information. i assume anything like that would have already leaked from the nfl offices by now. That Guy 04-21-2016, 12:06 PM panthers on releasing norman: Rivera on rescinding Josh Norman's tag: I'll trust GM - NFL.com (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000654848/article/rivera-on-rescinding-josh-normans-tag-ill-trust-gm) they didn't want to pay him what he was asking for and they decided to move on. no hard feelings. Schneed10 04-21-2016, 12:11 PM Like half the NFL is interested in him, I'd want him but not for 15 million per year. I hear this a lot, but I'm not sure there's any real thought behind it. If Josh Norman isn't worth $15M per year, who in your mind is? Schneed10 04-21-2016, 12:12 PM pretty sure we haven't cut roberts because he's still injured and that's a thing. at least last i heard. as far as norman, he is a great player, and even if we have to cut a player like culliver to make room, it's an upgrade. if you're a team, you would want to know why he was cut though. i mean, if the panthers found out he's about to get a 16 game suspension for peds, well... that's important information. i assume anything like that would have already leaked from the nfl offices by now. There's no character problem or anything, it's just Jerry Richardson is an idiot. Chip Kelly couldn't handle DeSean Jackson's personality, and Jerry Richardson doesn't like it when he doesn't have the leverage. We should capitalize. I just don't think McC is gonna go crazy with the number Norman wants. Culliver would be cut imo, Kory L too. Roberts when healthy. What do you think gets it done? IMO, Norman looking around 70-80 million with at least 60% of that guaranteed. Irrefutable 04-21-2016, 12:31 PM The Redskins should have enough money to sign Norman. Cutting Roberts and Culliver could save over $10 million. It is hard to determine Culliver's contract due to the escape clause. I doubt they can sign Norman for less than $75 million for 5 years... to much for me |
