According to Schefty they are. No way in hell we are signing Cousins to a long term deal this year. If Brock is getting 18mil/yr, you know Cousins isn't signing for less than 20. I'm not surprised at all. $18 mil/year is about the going rate for above average QBs. The question is, is Osweiler above average? Actually, this might not be a bad idea for Denver. Their first round pick this year is going to almost be like a second round pick. Who knows what next year's first round pick would be like? It would almost be as if Denver is just giving up a second round and a first round next year (assuming they don't win it all again.) Could be very interesting. I would be nervous. I hope Morris goes somewhere like Miami (heard someone speculating about this on Twitter).
