I liked Scot but if he were still here what would we be doing differently? Our record would still be the same.
Scot sd the skins stuck to his draft board, except for 1 pick.
I burn to know who that one pick was. Ryan Anderson?

We were going places with Scot until Allen and Snyder stepped in it.
Preach.

I feel if you can get a proven guy like Harbaugh then you do it. If it's just another JAG then keep him.

We thought we had that guy in Mike Shanahan. The issue keeps going back to the front office. Without the right guy as GM, who is supposed to provide the atmosphere and culture the coach needs to succeed, then it's not going to work no matter who the Redskins get. Unless that guy is so well respected, like Joe Gibbs was, you're either going to have a power struggle between the proven Super Bowl winning head coach and Bruce Allen, or you're going to have a guy who is willing to work within the confines of what the front office says, even when the front office isn't making the best of decisions. I would probably put Jay Gruden within that category, although I think he was successful in convincing the front office that Kirk Cousins was better than RGIII.
You also have to have a guy who knows how to lead, even knows how to lead those who are over him. Joe Gibbs was great with this on his second venture as head coach. He knew how to convince those around him that what he felt was best for the team was what they also felt was best for the team. And even knew how to work with what he didn't always feel was best for the team. Guys, we're looking for another Joe Gibbs, and those guys are few and far between.

Redskins: -43 point differential in the 2nd half/OT this season (28th in NFL)
That is a HUGE coaching indicator, adjustments are not made period.

It's also an indicator that the team is getting physically tired because they're having to play so many minutes because there aren't enough healthy bodies.
