Did you have this same concern when the ACA was passed?
Why would I be concerned that more people are eligible for health Insurance?

Giantone 07-31-2025, 07:04 PM Did you have this same concern when the ACA was passed? Why would I be concerned that more people are eligible for health Insurance? NC_Skins 08-01-2025, 12:07 AM That was tongue in cheek. Fair enough. I saw a tweet the other day with viewers that Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, and Jimmy Fallon. The numbers drop between each one was staggering. Sadly, I think it's just a thing of the past. NC_Skins 08-01-2025, 12:08 AM Did you have this same concern when the ACA was passed? Well, there was a concern about being able to keep your doctors and death panels. One of the two was a valid concern. Giantone 08-01-2025, 10:29 AM Who the hell didn't know this would happen??? https://www.the-independent.com/news/world/americas/us-politics/doge-buyouts-federal-workers-paid-leave-b2799832.html 154,000 federal workers who took DOGE buyouts are being paid to go fishing, watch Dungeons and Dragons streams and hunt for new jobs The government has generated an estimated $14.8 billion in waste on the deferred resignation program, a new report says The government is paying more than 154,000 federal employees not to work after they accepted the deferred resignation offer — and they’re spending their paid leave job hunting, doing yoga, and watching YouTube, according to a report. The figure, reported by the Washington Post, accounts for the tens of thousands of federal workers who accepted the government’s offer as of June that allowed employees to “retain all pay and benefits” through September 30 and voluntarily leave their jobs. The offer, originally sent out by the Office of Personnel Management in January, came after President Donald Trump mandated in-person work requirements for the federal workforce, the size of which the Department of Government Efficiency aimed to significantly shrink. A minority staff report from the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations Thursday also revealed that DOGE generated an estimated $21 billion in waste on mass layoffs and terminations. That figure included $14.8 billion for the deferred resignation program. Giantone 08-01-2025, 10:34 AM Well, there was a concern about being able to keep your doctors and death panels. One of the two was a valid concern. I here the death panels are making a come back under trump! Fishingfool 08-01-2025, 01:23 PM Why would I be concerned that more people are eligible for health Insurance? Because ACA hurt small business more then anything I can think of over the past 10 years. If an employer had 10 employees which he provided health care he saw premium increase over a 100%which would have been an increase of about $6000 a month with 10 employees. Fishingfool 08-01-2025, 01:27 PM Inflation is up. The latest PCE report indicates a rise in inflation, with prices increasing by 2.6% in June compared to a year ago, up from 2.4% in May. This increase is partially attributed to tariffs imposed by President Trump, which are pushing some prices higher according to CBS News, reports Reuters. As for your friend................ US steel prices are up primarily due to the recent increase in tariffs on imported steel, making domestic steel more attractive and allowing producers to raise prices. Additionally, rising demand, driven by factors like infrastructure projects and increased manufacturing activity, is also contributing to higher prices. Inflation of 2.6 oh boy we saw inflation as high as 9.1 under Biden. How in the hell can the left even bring up inflation after what we saw from Biden? 2022 7.5 7.9 8.5 8.3 8.6 9.1 8.5 8.3 8.2 7.7 7.1 6.5 8.0 2021 1.4 1.7 2.6 4.2 5.0 5.4 5.4 5.3 5.4 6.2 6.8 7.0 4.7 Chico23231 08-01-2025, 02:12 PM Inflation of 2.6 oh boy we saw inflation as high as 9.1 under Biden. If an employer had 10 employees which he provided health care he saw premium increase over a 100%which would have been an increase of about $6000 a month with 10 employees. Millions more can afford health care, my employer figured it out. It's the bigger picture and what is better for all Americans.
