My all time favorite thing is Democrats now platforming MTG. lol

Actually no rules change needed, Democrats could open up the government at anytime

They have chosen to shut the government down

It’s really that simple

Are you seriously saying someone shouldn't agree with Marge just because she has an R next to her name? When she is wrong call her out but in respect to healthcare and the Republicans lack of a plan for healthcare and the genocide in Gaza she is correct.

Couldn't Thune open the government? Schumer proposed a one year extension of ACA benefits and let Republicans keep everything else they wanted removal of veterans benefits etc but Thune wouldn't even open it for a vote. Can't blame dems when the Republicans hold all the power.

Anyways it sounds like it is moot. Dems are being cowards jumping ship and willing to allow 20 million Americans lose healthcare or have costs skyrocket in the end Republicans get what they want and Americans will pay the price. Too bad we couldn't have used that 40 billion we gave to Argentina to help the American people

I think they would have to. It would certainly decimate their narrative that dems are holding the government hostage if the hold up is MAGA Mike and Trump

All I know is I need a fucking paycheck.

My last full check was 9/26. 10/10 was partial pay.

Ridiculous

Unfortunately I'm going to have to agree with this.

GOP could have still passed it without them, but Dems held out for ACA credits, and they still didn't get them? Those 8 that signed on should be shamed out of the party for that nonsense. Chuck Schumer is a huge loser and has lost control of his caucus.

But they got a pinky promise they’ll vote on it… even though Johnson has already said yeah maybe we won’t. Don’t get why anyone would trust those fucks.

The Dems were never going to get the funding for health care, it was only a matter of time before enough caved. Trump has taking paying SNAP benefits to the Supreme Court. He has great distain for the poor as he does everything he cans to starve them and remove their health care.

Isn't the south a very poor region of the nation full of poverty and SNAP and ACA beneficiaries? Trump carried those states, those morons are now facing the consequences of their vote.

If the roles had been reversed, the GOP would have held firm until they lost the fucking Senate. That's how much power Trump has over his party. Dems for the most part are pathetic pussies that plays the game with the rules they think should be in place, not the rules that the other team is playing by. If I'm one of those other senators, I'd be calling for Schumer's head on a plate until he was either ousted or forced into retirement.

Oh, by no means are they getting those ACA tax credits. They lost their leverage when they handed it all to the GOP.
