Still no deal. Just do not understand why this could not have been completed prior to camp. The only logical explanation I could think of is they want to wait for other WRs to sign new contract/extensions to help them come up with a comparable contract extension for McLaurin. I'm not that concerned about this situation yet, although I agree with the fact that there is no reason to delay contract conversations that long. Who else is due for an extension thats a comparable player based on performance and value? I dont care for this situation at all. They better just get it done. We want him at camp. Just get it done. WCommandersfan99 07-22-2025, 07:29 PM McLaurin officially not at training camp losing $50,000 daily. Guess Peters knows now he is serious as others on this board who who were nonchalant about this. We'll get a better answer on that as we get closer to the end of the preseason but I'm very encouraged with the work he's put in." Good hear no setbacks but I wouldn’t rush it with our depth WCommandersfan99 07-23-2025, 10:31 AM Quinn was asked if Cosmi hitting all the markers meant he could be ready for the start of the season: "It's on the table for sure. Connerly Jr. and Tunsil should excel in pass protection. sdskinsfan2001 07-23-2025, 09:22 PM This is so lame. Football sucks until McLaurin is extended. punch it in 07-23-2025, 09:23 PM This is so lame. Football sucks until McLaurin is extended. Yup. Otherwise it is at least one more year CRedskinsRule 07-23-2025, 09:58 PM Who else is due for an extension thats a comparable player based on performance and value? Just get it done.I think this is how Peters is going to do deals; he's being open and transparent supposedly, But he's also not just going to give the player everything that they want. I actually think it's I actually think that McLaurin being away from camp isn't that bad a thing because it gives JD5 a chance to develop rhythms with other receivers.
