The fines are bogus because the team will make them up in the contract and honestly $50,000 even for 30 days isn't going to impact Terry McClaurin's lifestyle one iota, Especially when $80 million is on the line.

Plus its generating column inches for all the legit (and bedroom) journos. Plus if the worst story to come out of camp is this and there's nothing else negative, that's a good thing. As long as the deal ultimately gets done.

I think this is how Peters is going to do deals; he's being open and transparent supposedly, But he's also not just going to give the player everything that they want.

Again, if he gets too greedy AP may say no and trade him. Look at what the Chiefs did with Tyreek Hill (better receiver) and still won a SB without him. Peters knows the game and is willing to play. 3 days and counting now. Why the delay when McLaurin said weeks ago he wasn't playing around and wanted a new deal? SMH.

If this isn't resolved in 1 week, I could see AP dangling him out on the market. People here may think this is crazy talk but AP values the TEAM far more than 1 player. He's also in a contract year that another team would need to take on. Cleveland, NE, and other wr needy teams would love to trade for him.

For the record, I still want him but the best NFL gms always value the TEAM and future first and will never cripple a team cap for 1 player. Jerry is the best example of why his style never works. Clark Hunt/Veach of KC works perfectly getting 3 SBs.

Very fast just like Terry and MUCH younger but has done nothing in the league. Terry balled out his very 1st NFL game @ Philly so it's not totally farfetched. Lol there is no way Lane is going to replace McLaurinAgree for now but it's not fair for you to say he couldn't going forward. They were both taken in similar rounds in the draft with better production from Lane in college. Lane actually ran a slightly faster 40 prior to the draft also than Terry. Agree that it would be tough for any receiver to replace Terry but give Lane a fair shake. Kid is explosive.

Figure it the fuck out.Agree with this post 100%. Peters will blink first. If Terry rejects his best offer, he will be traded. Peters will not pull a Jerry and give him stupid money to the detriment of the team cap and other players' contracts. Terry needs to realize this.
