Macs are overpriced fashion statements.
Personally, I think Linux is the future. It's so disgustingly good and getting better by the minuter. There simply isn't a good reason why you should pay for proprietary OS, well maybe if you into PC gaming. Buy a decent machine, install Ubuntu and you're good to go.
