I dont understand this part , but i do trust Gibbs and Co decisions.
The report said that Denver will receive Washington's first- and third-round picks if the Redskins finish with a worse record than the Broncos this season. If Washington finishes with a better record, Denver would receive third- and fourth-round picks.

How many years does Ducket have left on his contract?

I really like this move... a 3rd is semi-high, but Duckett's still kind of young... we need to keep Portis fresh and Betts hasn't proven to be all world healthy. This helps us now- ain't that what we're playing for this season?

Broncos | Team could receive two first-day draft picks for Lelie

Updating previous reports, Jeff Legwold, of the Rocky Mountain News (http://www.kffl.com/link/168), reports the Denver Broncos (http://www.kffl.com/team/15/nfl) could receive two first-day draft picks from the Washington Redskins (http://www.kffl.com/team/37/nfl) in the three-team trade involving former Broncos (http://www.kffl.com/team/15/nfl) WR Ashley Lelie (http://www.kffl.com/player/622/nfl). If the Redskins (http://www.kffl.com/team/37/nfl) finish with a worse record than the Broncos (http://www.kffl.com/team/15/nfl) in 2006, Denver would receive the Redskins' first- and third-round picks. this is retarded...even if we finish with a better record than them...and it makes no sense

and the thread i see in here is bring back Davis...Duckett has got him beat even if his knee was in good shape...ive seen his burst in between the tackles he's not as slow you people think and just to prove that check this out....
The Falcons Michael Vick and DeAngelo Hall are both rumored to run the 40 in the 4.2 second range, and 255-pound running back T.J. Duckett was clocked at a 4.38 during his senior workouts at Michigan State.

oh yeah good point. Saunders could be changing the way all NFL teams run an offense. How about this Duckett moves to fullback......why not have a fast fullback. He can get out and around for the big blocks Clinton and Ladell need to break the big one. We already have one of the best o-lines (when healthy) Now we have the triple threat..... do you put eight in the box? We burn you deep. Do you play the pass? We burn you with the run outside. do you run blitz? we send Duckett up the gut. Unstoppable offense. come on say it with me...UNSTOPPABLE OFFENSE. It just sucks for guys like Rock how's been around for awhile ,to just fall by the wayside. We are gonna be nasty. Great defense + unstopple offense = Dynasty

if this is true, then it's a dumb move... a first and third possibly? that's terrible...

How does denver do this...got a first rounder in the champ - portis trade and now could get 2 of our picks for this trade...give me a break. should be 1 for 1 for 1 point blank period.

The only thing I don't like about the trade is that Duckett is in his last year of his contract and we gave up a third round pick. It is a risky move?

Here's some Duck for ya...

YouTube - T.J. Duckett Highlights (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvgQDM5433U)

I hate giving up draft picks but The Duck sure brings something to the table!!! Down by the gold line or short yardage he can give us a lot. Also free up the outside and the pass to a TE or WR as D's key to stop the short run. If he is as good as those highlight it just might be a good pick up. Will he be a freeagent next year like Betts ?
