i would have went after jason garrett before i would have went after fassell!!!
Really? Why?
A lot of us are coming to irrational conclusions based over success and failure previously. Wade Phillips and others can show us a lot about previous success as an offensive coordinator and head coach.
Garrett called plays well for THEIR personnel, what makes you think he'd be great for our's after his track record with both the Cowboys AND the Dolphins?

My question is, why are we getting so freaking out of joint over something that we can't predict yet?
He could hire me as head coach and I'd at least want a chance.
Folks, this is our favorite team and most of us live life one football season at a time. It would be a disservice to not give whomever they hire at least a fighting chance to gain our respect.
Hire you? Wait a minute are you Josh McDaniels? I knew you looked familiar

Why yes I am. I have a successful record as a head coach in Pop Warner, it should translate nicely to the NFL. :)
Seriously guys, we're getting SO nuts over something that we don't know anything about. I swear, if I hear booing on opening day if we hire Fassel, I'm going to be so embarrassed by our fan base.

You know there's also a very real possibility that Fassel was the only one of the candidates who was really willing to keep the majority of the staff intact. Maybe Meeks and Schwartz came in and talked about wholesale changes they were going to make, and that was a turn off. We may never know I guess.

EXACTLY.
NONE OF US know what went on behind the scenes, so let's not make assumptions about how insane the front office is. GW could have wanted the power Gibbs had.
I'm sad because we're not going to give anyone not named Gibbs a chance.

I voted for Schwartz...why?
Highest chance of continuity.
Now that Snyder took a complete crap on the coaching staff.....all we can do is hope the crapshoot he throws works out for the team.
In any case, it is highly likely that next year will be a offensive rebuilding year...it would be nice if the defense didn't have to do that at the same time.
Synder is a really crappy owner and obviously has poor integrity.
I miss Gibbs already

I'm starting to think you are on Synder's payroll
