My prediction is the team is tanked for 2 years and we rebuild again. Really hate to be negative about this new regime, but it reaks of the same old Snyder Redskins pre-Gibbs. His only real duty will be to appear on George Micheal's hideous television show. Maybe we could save time and just give the job to Sonny Jurgenson.

no one that wants to stand up to snyder is going to get hired. i think that's part of the deal, that you let him run around feeling important and making deals that may or may not be good for the team.

i'm mad with how it's gone down, and outside a surprise deal for cowher or fisher, i don't really understand how this whole episode is going to make the team better or provide stability... cause every year we've made a major change in staffing, we've had a terrible record to show for it.

There's no way Cowher or anyone else will come near this job now, save to secure his families future. I suspect that's why Grimm is not in the mix. He knows what the deal is with this job and wants no part of it. Any good will or rehabilitation to Snyder's image that had been generated by the return of Joe Gibbs has been pissed away in days. This "Saturday Morning Massacre" has undone in one fail swoop all the well intentioned efforts of four years.

I hope someone else has alrady corrected you, but Mr. Cooke was the one who sold the team. His son would have never done so. *sigh*

Is there any way Daniel Snyder would have the balls to verbally agree to a deal with a coach on the giants or pats before the end of the season?

I do not believe for one second that the redskins head coach did not pick Zorn and Blache as coordinators.
