Wait--sorry if you already clarified this, but was this yesterday? Or within the last few days? Old Ebbet's isn't exactly an anonymous, out-of-the way place to go eat--the only thing between Old Ebbet's and the WHITE HOUSE is the Treasury bldg. So, if TO showed up at Old Ebbit's during the same week he gets cut from the Cowboys, you'd have to admit that it would be EXTREMELY unlikely that reports of his presence would come from only, as you put it, third-hand sources.

Plus I heard he and Rosenshit were in Memphis allegedly meeting with the Titans.

From RI:

He says his friend is a waiter there and his friend knows what T.O. definitely looks like…not sure if I believe it though.

NEWSFLASH:
A good friend of mine works at Old Ebbett's Grill and told me that T.O. was eating there with an unnamed "Redskins official." This is totally thirdhand information but I lost a lot of sleep over it and felt the need to pass it on. Lets just hope he was in the throes of one of his many, many, acid flashbacks when he digested this intel.

I really wish i was sh*****g you guys.

How would this person have known it was a Redskins official that "Terrell Owens" was having lunch with?

I was thinking about this T.O. situation and I believe that Roger Goodell needs to step in and either suspend T.O. or require that whoever signs him has some sort of behavior clause in the contract. I think this would send a strong message that being a jacka$$ in this league doesn't payoff. As much as I think that the environments that T.O. has been (in somewhat dysfunctional teams) have catered to his selfishness, I would hate to see him go to New England, do well, and act like nothing has happened.

I personally think Bill Belichick will take T.O. and they're going to blow up the league. And after destroying three franchises, T.O. will come out unscathed. If it is true that there are teams interested, it shows that this league is willing to let talented clowns continue with their antics.

This is a great write up on why TO should be done in the NFL. My favorite line: He's a "malcontent with enough red flags to decorate every porch in China." LOL!!

This should spell the end for T.O. - NFL - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Ag8ERTEpTOUrtAj3PQhiroQ5nYcB?slug=cr-owens030509&prov=yhoo&type=lgns)

So a waiter knew it was a Redskins Offical and decided to not say who it was? That would only make sense if it was a reporter with inside scoop not for some waiter.

I think before he steps into any thing maybe he should look at players breaking the law. Like TO or not you do not ever hear of him getting into trouble or out getting drunk in bars (and thats not illegal). He is a head case but after that seems to be a decent person.

Reading these updates are hilarious:

"There's no way he's coming here" from every rumored team. :D

Eh. Just because he stays on the right side of the law doesn't mean he's not a slimy dude.
