Vinny give diehardskin his account back.
Lmao! I just threw that one out there to see what people think. I honestly would like us to send both Moss and Randle El out of here for the younger players to get more time. Tate could replace those guys and I love his work ethic.
However I understand we need a rebuilt line more than anything else and Wide Receiver would be a luxury.
I honestly hope we draft Mike Iupati, Bruce Campbell, and Matt Tennant. All of whom we are capable of drafting without trades that I feel IMO would truly make us into a perennial competitors for many years. But that approach isn't sexy.
LT: B. Campbell
LG: D. Dockery
C: M. Tennant
RG: C. Rinehart
RT: M. Iupati
I trully believe Iupati is capable of playing any of the 5 line positions.

Who are you taking at #4? And i think Iupati is better suited inside. He would get too many holding calls on the outside.

Are you guys freaking morons? Did you even watch a single Redskin game last year? Our quarterback was getting tackled as he was dropping back to pass. How is drafting an unproven rookie quarterback going to improve this situation. You cannot compare the current Redskin situation to the Jets with Sanchez and the Ravens with Flacco. Both of those teams have a solid base around the quarterback and in both cases Sanchez and Flacco do little more that manager the offense. Campbell is not an all-pro, but right now, he is the best option the Skins have. Draft a quarterback at #2 and groom him. The first round pick has to be a franchise tackle. So if I read your post correctly, folks who believe the Skins should draft an elite QB at #4 are "freaking morons".

His footwork isn't good enough for T, or a Zone Blocking scheme. He's a great fit for a power running team, the Steelers or Ravens come to mind.

Whatever the FO decides i'm with, I just hope the people who are saying pick BLANK aren't the same people who went to see the Skins at camp in preseason and came back saying everything looks good because if you are you can't evaluate SH*T based on your post you had me thinking we were good this year & we went 4-12.

If we made a play for Tate, I'd imagine it would be at the expense of Randle El's roster spot. Not at the playing time of Kelly/Thomas/Mitchell. As far as we know, Moss is still blocking them with his replacement level play.
thats what i thought of moss and portis for the past year or so, if you meant what im thinking. moss and portis played well enough to hold onto their jobs and not be replaced by an up and coming player. but they played just well enough, not great or significant enough to impact our W L record.
if you think about it, our core offensive guys (campbell, portis, moss, ARE, cooley) have been together for the past 4-5 years with average to near bottom production on offense, yet nothing changed. no one was replaced, no roster shuffling. weve had kelly and thomas for 2 years and still havent seen them really targeted or given a chance.
shoot, if cooley didnt get injured we still wouldnt know what to think of fred davis. honestly, it takes an injury to a starter on offense before we get a look at what other younger players we have might bring to the table? for an offense as bad and as hungry for explosion as ours, we cant find times in a 4-12 season to showcase some of our young guys? i blame zorn and i digresssss. . .

My idea would be to trade down and pick up Iupati. I also think Rinehart would be a better gaurd with higher level of talent around him. Sure if we could trade Dockery for a pick as a result of drafting Iupati I would... here is another idea.
LT: Russell Okung
LG: Derrick Dockery
C: M.Tennant
RG: C. Rinhart
RT: Bruce Campbell
Although I believe Iupati needs to be in a Redskins Jersey. I wonder if he has played right gaurd?

Our record doesn't take into effect Suisham's 2 game losing misses,Landry playing out of position, poor personnel moves, Zorn's poor coaching, etc...
I dont recall anyone saying that we were Super Bowl contenders, lets just wait ans see what BA and MS can do.
