Here's the text from that article:

Don't see anything about bashing Snyder in here...Mosely makes an argument for Okung I see.

Thanks for forwarding the text. It confirms what I thought, that Mosely doesn't know any more than you or I on this subject.

My point wasn't that ESPN was bashing the skins in the article but that I would be surprised if they have some major scoop. In the past they have consistently been anti-Redskins.

What do you mean? Just because he's saying they shouldn't take QB and take a tackle?

That essentially he isn't providing any information that you couldn't get by logging onto Redskins Insider.

Everybody knows that the decision would be between Clausen and a tackle. He offered his opinion, it isn't like he said the team is leaning towards one or the other.

The part about Tebow is somewhat interesting but I highly doubt our second pick is used on him.

Holmgren likes Bradford, not sold on Clausen

Holmgren says Cleveland Browns will definitely draft a QB, but probably not in the first couple of rounds | cleveland.com (http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2010/03/holmgren_says_cleveland_browns.html)

You make a good point. It seems likely that some players may be traded, possibly for draft picks. If the Skins acquire more draft picks, then I think that taking Tebow with a high second round pick as a developmental QB would be more palatable for most fans.

A second round pick is needed for the O line. If you are going to draft a developmental QB get Stull, Lefevour, or somebody else in the lower rounds. I don't see how all of a sudden Tebow has found "the right" mechanics in less than 3 months. I still think these hot QBs on the market will bust for the most part like the Carr, Harrington, Ramsey year of the QBs. All, but Clausen played on totally stacked teams. The overhyped guys rarely pan out anymore.

Count me in on Tebow bandwagon. If he has a chance to be successful everywhere it's with Shanahan and the emphasis on the run. He's also not nearly as bad of a passer as everyone has been making him out to be lately. In watching this video I was not only impressed with is arm strength but also how quickly he gets the ball out of his hands, if he's improved that recently then all the more impressive. I personally love the guy and would love it even more to see him be successful here.

Tebow's college resume may be second to none but the Redskins just cannot afford to use a 2nd round pick on him. After that, sure.

all things being equal, I would agree. But there's a lot of homework that shanny et al are doing now that will change a lot by draft day.

Look at it another way, assume Shanahan absolutely wants a new qb, but rather than take the high risk pick w/#4, he instead goes for a lower risk pick in the 2nd round. If he & the scouts like Tebow enough to take him in the 2nd, I'm all for it. I think the guy's a winner & is making teams think awfully hard about passing (on pun intended) on him.

I don't mind Tebow! But not...Repeat not with our first two picks. If Shanny and Allen move into the third and forgo later picks for this year I would be okay with it (a little) if they think Tebow has what it takes to start or try to start in 2-3 years!

I would love to get more picks... any trade down scenarios around for our number 4 Pick? I know with Bradford going #1 this would decrease our chances of trading down due to less partners. If we got more picks than by all means get Tebow with the added picks! Maybe late 2nd or early 3rd!
