Correct me if I am wrong but I believe there is no evidence that the Redskins are showing any interest in this guy. I really don't think this is gunna happen....good thing...the guy is a psycho....I remember that video of him crying as a cowboy after losing in the playoffs to the Giants and we all LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT!

YouTube - Terrell Owens crying!! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNO6On7cK1M)

I dont want this guy...he is highly instable.
I dont care what you guys say about him being a "model citizen" for one year...lots of people do that on parole too ya know....it doesn't make them suddenly law abiding citizens. Kinda like, once a cheater, always a cheater....same can be said of the self centered. It is rare someones character changes, it usually takes an act of God.
It is possible but odds are 1 in 100 that someone has a true shift as substantial as what we would be hoping for.

Think of it this way....
If we get this guy...he will be an older, weaker, slower version of what was in Dallas and Philly and every bit of himself that he has always been. If anything, he'd probably be more prone to emotional outburst of depression and anger since he will realize he is a shell of what once was. I don't know if the skins have a psychoanalyst on staff...but if we get this guy, he sure will be busy.

I'd rather have less talent than a potential basket case on the team.
And obviously, 32 GM's out of 32 happen to agree with me at this point

Skinz... I think you may be being a bit harsh and over analyzing TO. I get it, but the guy is not that bad..... hmmmm.... well the whole doing pushups in his front yard was a little crazy.

I will never forget that scene. It was a little surreal.

Ahhh yes, crunches, how could I forget. Push ups would make it much harder for him to conduct an interview. :)

Yeah, a rumor that he basically started himself. He said he's open to playing there. That's about all there is to that.

The only team Owens has publically stated he will NOT play for is the Chiefs. No secret that there is no love loss between he and the KC head coach Todd Haley.

Those bridges were burnt when Haley was the WR coach in Dallas.

Thing is Owens is looking for something in the neighborhood of 5 mil per year. And any team that signs him now that will pay that amount would be a team that loses a starter to injury during camp/preseason.

Owens will look to be a #1 or #2 WR. He won't sign to be further on the depth chart then that.

The 3-4-5 WR will be expected to contribute on Special Teams, and that is something Owens will not agree to do.

And Owens said that about joining the Patriots on a BOSTON radio station. What did anyone expect him to say on a Boston radio station? But lets be real for a minute. In order for Owens to play in New England, he would have to unseat either Randy Moss or Wes Welker from their positions.

Does anyone realistically see that happening? Methinks not.

Owens will get a job when there is a significant injury to a starting WR somewhere in the NFL. Untill then, all the radio appearances, and interviews we have suddenly been seeing is simply Owens agent trying to market him with training camps only a week or two away.

Thats all these appearances are, "T.O. informercials". Now his agent will just wait by that 1-800 number and see who calls.

I'll second closing the thread. If for some reason he signs with the Skins we can start a TO signs thread if not lets put it to bed.
