Lol @ mf4l
Stop the Madness, T.O. should be a skin (but he's not, he's a Bengal)tryfuhl 07-27-2010, 11:31 AM Lol @ mf4l MTK 07-27-2010, 11:32 AM I don't think our WR situation is as dire as some do, but we'll have to wait and see how it all plays out. sandtrapjack 07-27-2010, 11:33 AM Suck a dick ! You're WR core is straight. Ours isn't. You have a Big WR that can be a threat, we don't. Besides that's 4 dudes we could always use a 5th. But for all the bitching that the Skins fans here do about Kelly why wouldn't we bring in TO ? But I guess Kelly is cool now because it's him or TO. I'm sorry for the suck a dick comment but I hope you understood that was in jest. But seriously, suck a dick, don't tell me what we don't need when you know for yourself that it will be an improvement. Like I said, Witten ran free and you know it. Now you have Austin so you don't need a TO type anymore, but as of right now, we don't have one of those. He's 37 years old. He will NOT produce, or come near, the numbers he produced in Philly or Dallas. Not even close. Be realistic in this process man, just think about it. Do you really expect him to do any better than he did in Buffalo? Wherever he lands, I dont expect him to get any more than 2 to 3 catches per game, maybe 600 yards for the whole season and 3 or 4 TD's. Don't get wrapped up in a name here. Where does he fall on your depth chart? You gonna put Galloway at 3 on the depth chart? That leaves Kelly and Thomas scraping for playing time and dedicated primarily to Special teams. Thus delaying any further development. I'm not convinced that thier development may have been hindered by the previuos coaching regime. I still do not think we know what they have there is all. Washington does not need Owens. 12thMan 07-27-2010, 11:36 AM Looks like the Jets are exploring signing T.O. SmootSmack 07-27-2010, 11:36 AM Skins also have Roydell Williams and Bobby Wade on their roster right now MonkFan4Life 07-27-2010, 11:42 AM He's 37 years old. Washington does not need Owens. You sound like my friend who gives the exact same argument. We don't know what they have mainly because of the QB that we had IMO. Now bringing in TO could hinder whatever development process they are in right now, all I'm saying is that I'd rather have a weapon than not have one. Just because he's not going to go out and get me 15 TD's in a season doesn't mean that his impact would not be benificial. He would still garner attention from either the 1st or second corner or do you think that any ol team would just throw a nickel on him and be cool with that ? In doing that you give other receivers a chance to either have a lesser skilled corner, safety, linebacker covering them which should raise that chance of a good play or two. I'm just saying. Much like Albert, people look at his sack total but you have to know that he is taking on double teams each play opening up things for other players. I'm looking at what hispresence alon brings to the offense. You guys are talking about what his stats will end up being, to hell with his stats I'm thinking about what he'l do for everyone else. I see so many Skins fans talking about puttin Moss in the slot, that gives you the opportunity to do that. But hey,we have Joey Galloway, right ? Don't let me forget about those two studs named Boby Wade and Roydell Williams. skinsfan_nn 07-27-2010, 05:40 PM Thanks Mike for not signing this old used up clown show. Glad this fool is in Cincy good location for him! T.O. picks the Bengals Posted by Mike Florio on July 27, 2010 5:33 PM ET Well, it's happened. Receiver Terrell Owens has agreed to terms with the Bengals. Per a league source, Owens will receive a base salary of $2 million. He can earn up to another $2 million in incentives. The source says that the incentives are based on receptions, yards, and touchdowns. sandtrapjack 07-27-2010, 05:55 PM Beat me to it. Close thread PLEASE! Well I would say the Offensive Line contributed greatly to the demise of the pass game, even with Campbell under center. DB's had Owens number lately. He is starting to show his age. He now has more of a problem shedding the press coverage of DB's. They get in tight and harass him physically and he cant get off the coverage. In his prime, he was good at beating that, but in these past few years he has shown a handicap at shedding those presses. But it is all academic now as he has signed in Cincy. Time for the young guns to show up I guess. And just between you and me, with Moss's breakaway speed, I would not put him in the slot too much. Now you attach money to that problem and you're fixing for trouble. If anything the incentives should be attached to him being a good citizen and the teams record. rbanerjee23 07-27-2010, 06:16 PM Not only do I agree with your comment dirtbag but your sig made me lol  |
