Stop the Madness, T.O. should be a skin (but he's not, he's a Bengal)

Skins weren't even in the mix

With T.O. under contract, the names of the other interested teams emerge | ProFootballTalk.com (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/07/28/with-to-under-contract-the-names-of-the-other-interested-teams-emerge/)

Looks like Shanahan was true to his word

You know what's nice, is that the Skins name rarely ever came up. I could have liked TO being here, but I like the fact that we are no longer the first name thrown out every time, or if we are, it doesn't stick. I also like that as a whole the Skins management doesn't seem to be guided by every whim and passing fancy of the media or fans.

In my defense, I have NEVER stated that the Redskins "got great WR's now"

Duly noted. Lol. In any event I wanted T.O. to go to the Cowboys cause I hoped he would cause a problem as some think he did. In this case it is simply interesting you being a Dallas fan advocating against the Skins acquiring him....unless secretly your a Skins fan? Lol.

Agreed. Odd that Rosenhaus would tell us who was interested after the deal was done, but I don't expect him to follow any rules, written or unwritten. Glad we weren't interested. I didn't think he and Donovan would have any issues at this stage in their lives, I just don't think we need him...plus he drops more balls than Carlos Rogers.

Ochocinco and T.O.? This should be interesting. :D

Bite your TONGUE!

Not, and never will be, a 'Skins fan.

I am, however a fan of this board and MOST of the members here. Most, not all.

And after the last season, you guys deserver a much better product on the field. I think T.O. would have been detremental to that. Not for his "love me some me" attitude. But rather I think his presence would have impeded progress in the receiving corps and made this team even older than it is. Which, I might add, is the oldest roster in the NFL.

At the end of the day my wish is for parity in the NFC East. With the way the league has written the schedules, making the last regular season game a division matchup. With parity it pratically gaurantees the last games of the season will have a strong bearing on division titles.

Considering how Dallas is annually overhyped and overrated, parity in the NFC East is always possible. We are usually the strongest division in the league and that will be true again this year, although the AFC East is looking solid as well.

I'm predicting the Skins and 'Girls to be battling for the title in the end, with NJ and Philly in the rearview.

Should be interesting to see how the Bengals offense will work with Ocho, TO, Gresham, Briscoe, potentially Matt Jones and Bryant. Funny how there's so much talk about what bad characters Ocho and TO are...yet Jones, Briscoe, and Bryant are the ones with the suspensions, and arrests.

Ocho and TO are not bad character guys although the media may potray them that way. They're just self promoters. Neither has ever had off the field issues. Ocho doesn't even drink. But I like this move for Cincy. They're quietly building a really nice team with a VERY underrated defense. I think they've got to be the favorite in their division.

I wouldn't quite call Cincy the favorite just yet. Signing merc's and breaking the law does not a division title bring.
