The Broncos was one of the most overrated. Their secondary and MLB got carved up by Brady worse than any other team I've seen this year. And their DL can't stop the run that well. I don't think the Broncos defense compares to the 49ers, but they were one of the reasons the Broncos won all those games under Tebow. Plus, the Pats offensive attack is pretty elite (when healthy), very few defenses are going to stop them. Denver has some defensive weaknesses, however if Manning is able to produce, it will benefit the defense a lot (something I think will happen here with RG3). It's not about intimidation; it's having the Super Bowl be a Manning Bowl too. John Fox has shown he's a really flexible guy. And isn't Manning's record on the road not that bad anyway? Plus, the thinner air could play to his advantage in terms of chucking it deep.
