Peyton Manning Chooses the Broncosskinsfaninok 03-19-2012, 02:32 PM Did I hear 5 years 95 million !! Holy shit GTripp0012 03-19-2012, 02:42 PM On Tebow, Buffalo would seem to be the obvious match. But I'll throw out Green Bay as well as a spread team that just lost it's backup quarterback. Miami is the one place in the league Tebow could go and start, although QB hungry teams like the Jets and the Bills would be more interesting from a long term perspective. The Tebow-Gabbert straight up trade is an interesting notion, but would rely on those two teams to value those players equally, and I'm just not sure that's realistic. MTK 03-19-2012, 02:54 PM If I'm Miami I'd give Tebow a hard look. At the very least he's got star power. He sells tickets and jerseys, and the Dolphins desperately that type of boost. Jacksonville could obviously use a boost in ticket sales as well. NC_Skins 03-19-2012, 03:01 PM If I'm Miami I'd give Tebow a hard look. At the very least he's got star power. They need somebody that can run their offense, they need stability in the front office. They don't need false hope. Lotus 03-19-2012, 03:02 PM Did I hear 5 years 95 million !! Holy shit Yeah, that's the raise I got at my teaching job. mlmpetert 03-19-2012, 03:05 PM On Tebow, Buffalo would seem to be the obvious match. This trade would make a whole lot of sense for both teams. But im wondering if Gabbert isnt worth more than Tebow on the trading block and if Denver can afford Gabbert as a back up. I like Tebow a lot, but at the end of the day hes a MAJOR distraction. The only guys he could serve back up to are Manning, Brady, Brees, and Rodgers, otherwise hes gonna be a distraction. He's an instant draw at the box office, that's just a fact. And he did manage to win some games last year too. That Guy 03-19-2012, 03:14 PM good for peyton, and i'm glad we got rgiii weeks ago (or so it seems) and don't really have to worry about peyton or the craptastic QB market beyond peyton manning. Dirtbag59 03-19-2012, 03:26 PM Tebow liked to compare the NFL to the SEC however playing in the AFC West last year was kind of like playing in the ACC. I suppose he could find success in the AFC East where the Patriots are looking like the only real playoff team. AFC South though would probably be a better fit as that division is up for grabs for the first time since the early 2000's. Jags with their running game and large investments draft wise on the defensive side of the ball would be an ideal fit but the GM wants nothing to do with Tebow. NC_Skins 03-19-2012, 03:29 PM He's an instant draw at the box office, that's just a fact. And he did manage to win some games last year too. Short term. Yes. Long term. No. Please. His team won games. There is a reason Denver was looking at every direction at QB this off-season. He sucks. |
