Your words are making such an impact on my life, please, tell me more.
Quit whining about the refs, and please type us up another doctrine in which we can all live our NFL lives by. :biggthump

Sucks that the owners simply just don't care. We're going to watch the games regardless of who's officiating...
I thought our game was horribly officiated and it really isn't getting any publicity on the sports networks compared to the Philly/Baltimore game or Monday nights game. They had no control of the players and some of the calls/non-calls (Fisher's unchallengable challenge) were just flat out wrong. Im guessing our game isn't getting much attention because it wasn't nationally televised, so imagine all the other games that were officiated just as horribly.
Too many illegal hits and unsportsmanlike conducts are going unpunished, while other ticky-tac defensive pass interferences and "late" out of bounds hits are wrongly called. The players are going to keep getting into scuffles, plays are going to continue to be miscalled, player safety will stay in jeopardy... the integrity of the game is being tarnished.
the one that stood out was the rams player just dove on fletcher after the play was clearly over. such a dirty cheap shot. some players need to have more respect for their nfl brothers. hope that asshole gets fined.

I will admit, my opinion has changed slightly after watching the last skins game. Mostly, I don't have an issue with replacement officials. If they're a little slower or make some mistakes here and there -- I understand. Especially as they become accustomed to the speed and difference in the NFL. I don't think their calls are any better/worse than normal refs. The normal refs made a lot of mistakes also, let's not act as if they were flawless. The new refs DO need to control the games. I'm sure that will be a point of emphasis after this week. Be more aware of extracurricular stuff and don't be afraid to throw the flag. Slow down any cheap hits, chippyness, etc.
Here's the thing, the amount of money regular refs want, to me, is ridiculous. This isn't their full time job and they spend ~4 hours a week working -- yet they want a pension? How many of us work 10x (or more) than that per week and aren't given a pension. We have to deal with a slight decrease in officiating skill until they get some practice -- but I understand the NFLs stance. I rarely side with the NFL anymore, but I do in this case. Last week was ridiculous and I expect to see improvement over the next few weeks, especially with keeping control of the game.

Where was all this talk when we won? Lol. We need the real refs back for the integrity of the game. Can we leave wins and losses out of it though. We could and have been on both ends of the bogus calls. For three years we have been blaming our close losses on orakpo being held but not getting the call. These refs are garbage that is clear but they are horrible for BOTH teams.
I didn't think the refs were as bad in week 1 as they were last week.
My biggest problem is how they have no control. The players know this and keep pushing things to see how much they can get away with.
Plus there's no consistency. With the regular refs sure they weren't perfect, but with the replacement refs they call things they shouldn't and miss the obvious calls. The speed of the game is clearly too much for them and I don't see them improving much in the short term. The regular refs have been doing this for years. It's not something you just get up to speed with in a matter of weeks.
