He essentially said he was against every single bad decision the team made, under his command. If that is true, then what the heck was he doing?

HailGreen28 02-18-2015, 08:48 PM He essentially said he was against every single bad decision the team made, under his command. If that is true, then what the heck was he doing? Some of it, like Griffin not being all in, seemed true, but it's hard to imagine a head coach helplessly wringing his hands on the sideline while Dr. Andrews and his franchise QB insist on destroying himself. Still looks like Snyder is a turd. NYCskinfan82 02-18-2015, 08:51 PM I think the headline there is off. He wasn't laying blame IMO. Obviously Griffin wanted to be a drop back passer. Obviously the owner wanted the same. The main problem was/is he's just not good enough to do it. You think MS was wrong in stating that? He knew Grffin couldn't do it and that's been confirmed with his play. That's why Griffin had one offense and KC had another. The truth hurts for Griffin and the pro Griffin crowd. I've always said this about Griffin. He's a track athlete playing football. He just doesn't have QB instincts. You either have that or you don't. They can coach him up all they want, but he'll never be great at the drop back game. I think he said it would take five years. Meks 02-18-2015, 09:17 PM All this said, weather griffin is this, or that, we were a 3-6 team .... That won 7 straight some in dramatic or defensive fashion, the fireworks of 2012 rested on rgs legs and a two read offense that was dual threat and custom to griffin, without wat they designed for him... We may not even have this thread OmahaRedskins 02-18-2015, 09:23 PM My question is why now? It has been over a year since he left Washington and now he does a tell all interview. To me, he comes across as a person that can't take responsibility for his actions. HailGreen28 02-18-2015, 09:33 PM All this said, weather griffin is this, or that, we were a 3-6 team .... Meks 02-18-2015, 09:38 PM Of course a lot of ppl balled that year, I'm being more Robert specific though Ruhskins 02-18-2015, 10:16 PM My question is why now? Mike Shanahan did his share in continuing to f*ck this franchise over. Can't believe some people here believe everything he says or act like he's a f*cking victim. He can go to hell for all I care. irish 02-19-2015, 06:53 AM I think the headline there is off. He wasn't laying blame IMO. Obviously Griffin wanted to be a drop back passer. When I listened to the interview I heard MS say that RG could become a pocket QB but it would take awhile so RG had to trust that the coaches were creating an offense that would give the Skins the best chance to win while slowly increasing what RG does as a drop back QB. Unfortunately for everyone RG didnt trust his coaches to slowly develop him into a pocket QB and we know the rest of the sad story. KI Skins Fan 02-19-2015, 07:43 AM Despite the fact that Jay Gruden said that RGIII is the No.1 QB going into next season, I don't think that things will work out for Robert here. |
