The poll needs an 'on he fence' option...

No wiggle room, be bold and make a decision

What if we drafted Tau, traded DH and signed Clowney.

Depends on what we traded DH for, but I wouldn't be happy about it

I don't want Tua.

The guy has had 3 surgeries in the last 2 years, one of them being for a serious hip injury.

For the life of me I can't understand how people are ignoring that especially given how hard this team has been hit with injuries in recent years and how everyone loves to bitch about drafting players with an injury history. He's had trouble standing up to the rigors of college ball, how is he going to deal with the pros where everyone is bigger and faster?

I mean there is literally nothing else in the sports world to talk about, even my son's youth sports are all cxl.

Like i said just playing devils advocate. I am fine with a CY pick and being done.

In Rivera and Smith I trust. They know better than any of us. We have at least 3 good options in front of us - I am confident they will make the best possible decision.

Because they see Tua has the bright shiny toy and are willing to look past injury concerns on the off chance he is the next Mahomes

Quick release , mobile , accurate as it get, leader , grit , winner, clutch..

I mean the dude is the real deal, saying yes to this question is not crazy at all. Again if Haskins didn't have the 2 good games at the end of the season, this may not be much of a disagreement.

Haskins' cap numbers:
2020 $3.3M
2021 $4M
2022 $4.6M

#2 overall's ballpark cap numbers:
2020 $6.5M
2021 $8M
2022 $10M
2023 $11M

There is no doubt in my mind that we will have our franchise QB, our top-tier, 15 year starter QB - if we draft Tua #2.

AZ got a 2nd and a future 5th for Rosen after drafting Murray. We would probably get something spicier for Haskins if we go that route.

Or just keep them both, pay your starter and backup less money than a starting QB and build around that bargain over the next several seasons.

This pick is a slam dunk whether it's Young or Tua.

I remember that Haskins made some throws that Scary Terry had to make “circus catches “ .. Haskins big game was more on his support cast than him .. I’m not saying he will never be good but we have to at least consider other options ...
