We've been waiting for the future since 1991. Let's make a damn move. And we built the team for this type move. The holes that exist, other than QB, are doable with FA, and solid mid round drafting. Sure everyone wants a stud at every position, but only a few positions really require a stud, and only 1(QB) is demonstratably more important than the rest.

I need to see Redskins One gassing up and flying between Detroit, Houston and Green Bay in a no fly zone pattern in order to land one of these QB

This is what I wish people would understand. We have an amazing core of young players and we need a QB to get us over the hump. We also need to take advantage of being in a division where the rest of the teams are in QB disarray, have aging players, and/or have no cap room. We get Watson, Dak, or Stafford, we are immediate favorites to be division champs again.

Our Defense is better than all of those teams other than LAR.. Also the Rams would take a big chunk to eat Goff's salary

Not sure i agree with that . . . 49ers defense was missing their best player in Bosa (their Young) and quite a few others. They were a superbowl team that almost won the year before. They also have far better WR's than us, one of the the best TE's in the league, and a great running game (all 3 things we are missing).

Colts, same thing, much better offense skill players, great offensive line, great running game, good WR's. And a stellar defense that IMO like the 49ers is still ahead of ours. Definitely more consistent for now.

That being said, our defense is close to both of those teams, but our offense is not.

PLUS . . . which teams have a reputation of being run better? The colts, the 49ers or the Redskins? yeah, not close as we are considered one of the worse run franchises in all of spots. One year made us look better, but us fans were so used to BAD that decent seems great to us. Others don't wear those same burgundy and gold glasses when the look at our team.

I also think the time is now .. not the get crazy and sign Bruce Smith/Deion Sanders type now ... but the find a top 15 QB and add 2-3 starters in FA type crazy.

Chris Russell did give a cautionary tale last night on radio. If you think you found the right guy, you do anything to get him.

But youd better be right.

Goff - 4 yrs 134M
Wentz - 4/128
Jimmy G - 5/137.5

We cant Alex Smith ourselves again.

We have to get this right. Lots of options and weighing of pros and cons.

Washington Football Plane

Can we put missiles on it to shoot down other team planes who maybe attempting to steal our QB?

If you get Stafford, you need to get a LT and LG.
No point in getting him if you aren't going to give him the time he needs to throw deep.

Yeah this is the best way to look at the stafford possibly...draft capital and salary cap BUT you have to take into account team management.

First thing, what teams will give up first round picks? I’d say Washington, Bears and Indy (last year moved a first for Buckner). Raiders.

San Francisco and New England seem to be less willing to move a first...more disciplined and I actually think both will be looking strongly at the draft for QB.

Would Denver move 9th overall pick? I doubt it.

Who has the cap? Most do mentioned above except Bears...their are over and would take way too much cutting...they are probably out. Denver could cut Kareem Jackson and von Miller to get there. San Fran would cut Jimmy g, no brainer..but they are still kinda up against. Raiders will have to do some cutting, but could get there...and they are up against it as well.

I really think it comes down to Washington and Indy. New England isn’t trading a first...San Francisco most likely would not part with a first. I doubt Denver gives up 9th overall. Wildcard could be the Raiders. Bears don’t have the cap room.
