Absolutely ridiculous by the Rams. 2 first round picks, 3rd and Goff? Literally an offer they couldn’t refuse.
I woulda sent this years first and next second...maybe sweetener later with this years 4th. But this is a wild overpay.

People need to realize that one of those first rounders was compensation for Detroit to take on Goff and his contract.

I would have have tapped out at a 1st, 3rd and Goff. Think about how Goff must feel. For what they gave away to get Stafford, they must think of his worth as a moldy ham sandwich.
yep, McVay just totally soured on Goff like no ones business.

Good call. McVay's star is losing some luster when he's making moves like this. Still, I admire his confidence in building a team without first round picks. He's not lacking in confidence.

either way it is a bad trade.I'm not saying it is a good trade. Just that everyone seems to think Stafford is worth two first rounders. He's not.

Rams are going all in. Lions got a great haul. I'd favor the Lions if only 1 choice. But Rams are now possibly the best team in the NFL going into next year. That Goff contract was an anchor.
My dad is a Rams fan, he is no expert, but he was right about Goff: His contract is way above his talent pay grade.
