Props to him dmek25 11-05-2006, 08:05 PM a win is a win... but the play calling seemed alot more in rhythm today 4mrusmc 11-05-2006, 08:05 PM he did pretty darn good w/o the teams #1 wr, a pretty non existent running game except for one play, and a mixture of dropped passes and bad calls nullifying completions. He did make a bad decision to try and force it into lloyd which luckily wasn't intercepted and could have run for a first down a couple times if he had his mentality of a few years ago, but he looked damn nice with a couple lasers 15+ yards down the field. I was just excited to see the offense making attempts down the field and look at what it resulted in with a few big catches and almost as many big penalties. Well said, I saw the same things. EternalEnigma21 11-05-2006, 09:44 PM considering he had no running game he did well. I voted avg, but if I'd say he did good if I had thought about that simple fact... Even though we did try to run the ball, its not like they really had to worry too much about us blowing them up on the ground, so they were preparing to see passes and they got them and we executed a few times... for that he gets props this week. no question, but he's not above criticism by any means... This was a hard fought win and they needed it. If you are looking for style points, you are a "fan" of the wrong team. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS! MTK 11-05-2006, 09:51 PM Well smarten' up. This was a hard fought win and they needed it. If you are looking for style points, you are a "fan" of the wrong team. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS! I agree. Nobody should have to apologize for their play after that huge win. They won because of a great overall team effort. That's what we should be talking about... not the play of one guy for the millionth time. backrow 11-05-2006, 09:56 PM Washington Comp Att Yds Pct Y/A Sack YdsL TD Int M. Jason Campbell may not be all that, but he's got a better arm than MB, for sure! I pulled for Sonny in the Sonny/Billy debate. Gus in the Heath/Gus debate. So, don't go by my choices if you think different. Pocket$ $traight 11-05-2006, 10:00 PM Washington Comp Att Yds Pct Y/A Sack YdsL TD Int M. I am not a Brunell lover on any level and you can see that in my previous points. He was incredible today, if you don't belive me look at the body language on every play in the second half. He was as good as any QB in the league today. RedskinRat 11-05-2006, 10:04 PM He was incredible today..... in‧cred‧i‧ble /ɪnˈkrɛdhttp://cache.lexico.com/dictionary/graphics/luna/thinsp.pngəhttp://cache.lexico.com/dictionary/graphics/luna/thinsp.pngbəl/ kred[/B]-[I]uh-buhhttp://cache.lexico.com/dictionary/graphics/luna/thinsp.pngl] –adjective 1.so extraordinary as to seem impossible: incredible speed. 2.not credible; hard to believe; unbelievable: The plot of the book is incredible. The lack of skill this QB shows is incredible. I'm shocked at how easily pleased the people on here are. Seriously, you act like he did something of mythical proportions. It wasn't in Dallas, it wasn't 13 points down with little time to go. Please watch the game again with a clear head and critque him honestly. Damn! Jason72 11-05-2006, 10:08 PM I voted average. He made some good throws and they won. His weaknesses were still glaringly on display though, can't handle any pressure (team consultant Ray Brown admitted this in a post-game interview), won't look at the # 2 receiver (Randle EL today), and underthrows the deep route badly. We did not win this game because of Mark Brunell. | |
