Matty, seriously let it go. These people are just really stubborn.
Stubborn?
You're being nice. Very nice.

Give Props to BrunellMTK 11-05-2006, 04:28 PM Matty, seriously let it go. These people are just really stubborn. Stubborn? You're being nice. Very nice. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 11-05-2006, 04:28 PM Brunell only had 191 yards, but he should have had close to 250. Cooley dropped a 20+ yard play and Lloyd's 37 yard catch was negated by a bogus holding call on Fauria. hooskins 11-05-2006, 04:29 PM Stubborn? You're being nice. Very nice. I mean Brunell played a very good game, and yet they are talking trash. If our D held up, we would have crushed the Boys. Apparently they fail to see the problems with our D. Remember, jedi mindtricks? MTK 11-05-2006, 04:30 PM I mean Brunell played a very good game, and yet they are talking trash. If our D held up, we would have crushed the Boys. That Guy 11-05-2006, 04:30 PM those refs shouldn't have those jobs. the first half had about 10 questionable calls/no-calls and they weren't consistent. Apparently they fail to see the problems with our D. Remember, jedi mindtricks? I think had our O-line been able to get a push off the line and run-block (e.g. inside the 5 in the 1st quarter), we would have crushed them. skinsfanthru&thru 11-05-2006, 04:42 PM he did pretty darn good w/o the teams #1 wr, a pretty non existent running game except for one play, and a mixture of dropped passes and bad calls nullifying completions. He did make a bad decision to try and force it into lloyd which luckily wasn't intercepted and could have run for a first down a couple times if he had his mentality of a few years ago, but he looked damn nice with a couple lasers 15+ yards down the field. I was just excited to see the offense making attempts down the field and look at what it resulted in with a few big catches and almost as many big penalties. RedskinRat 11-05-2006, 04:46 PM You lot crack me up. Yeah, Brunell's great... /sarcasm off Hail2theskins 11-05-2006, 04:46 PM Im not bashing Brunell, i think he had a good game today and came up with an extremely good win but in all honesty, brunell doesnt play well for a couple games then comes out with a big one, which seems to be a trend do you think the orginization sees this or does this only further the love joe gibbs has for mark brunell after today? Sheriff Gonna Getcha 11-05-2006, 04:49 PM You lot crack me up. Yeah, Brunell's great... /sarcasm off He didn't play "great," but he played pretty well. I know talking about Brunell is like talking about religion (it's black and white, right and wrong), but even I have to admit he played well today. As has been pointed out, we had no running to speak of and were without our #1 playmaker, but the offense looked pretty solid against a good defense. | |
