It's official we get the 10th pick of the draft, what pisses me off is that the Cowboys pick before us despite them having a better division record.
No big deal. If anything they're among the teams I didn't mind picking before us, seeing as how both teams have very different needs.

Been hearing talk about Robert Quinn possibly being atop our wish list. It's early though
By the way has it been mentioned we got Doug Dutch back? We ****ing stole John Beck!
Well he's horrible, so lets hope not

I've heard Quinn is a stud.. I'd really like to get Pouncey that would make our OL pretty damn good

What's the formula for tie breakers as it relates to the draft?

Hes not the 10th selection overall...he not a bad player. He didnt play this year, he was suspended. Its hard to improve your game when your knowingly commiting rules infractions and being suspended. Second round, maybe

Round 1) (10)-Marcell Dareus
or
Round 1) trade down: QB Locker/Gabbert (if avail) + OT (Solder/Sherrod/etc)
Round 2) 3-4 DE
Round 4,5,5,7 BPA
FA targets-NT (Solaia), OG (Kalil/Joseph)
I don't think that there is any way that we could trade down and still get Blaine Gabbert (if he declares). IMO, Gabbert is a Franchise QB. I would trade up to get him.
I would like to see the Skins pick up as many draft picks as possible prior to the draft and then trade down in the 1st Round to pick up another 2nd or 3rd Round pick. We might as well accept the fact that we are in a team-building phase and act accordingly.
If Haynesworth won't get with the program, then make the deal with the Titans and trade him for a 4th Round pick. I'd trade McNabb for a 4th Round pick, as well.
We've got a lot of holes in this team. At this point, I'd concern myself less with trying to move up in the draft to select a few players who could possibly become stars than I would with having a greater number of picks to use on players who have a chance to become solid contributors.
I like your FA targets. As much as I'd like to see Vincent Jackson in B&G, we haven't fared very well with big money FA signings so maybe we should just go after reasonably priced players to upgrade positions where possible.

Yeah i've heard that McHype(Shay) just put Gabbert at #5 in his last mock.
I didn't think he would be rated that high.
I was thinking that Gabbert/Locker would have mid-1st grades and w/ Newton and Mallett coming out it would push a QB down to or us.
I think both Locker and Gabbert both are very similar and very good prospects.
But, i'm against trading up for anyone.
Except for Suh last year.

In this case the more the merrier. If anything it's nice to have options though I must admit I'm not to high on Gabbert.
Also I'm pretty sure someone already posted this but
Blaine Gabbert of Missouri Tigers declaring for NFL draft - ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft2011/news/story?id=5985219&campaign=rss&source=ESPNUHeadlines)
Based on what McShay said we won't be in position to draft him but if anything 2011 is slowly turning into QB nirvana with as many as 5 guys currently projected to be first rounders (though that number will more likely end up being 4).

There may be 5 qbs with first round grades, but how many of them are actually worth it? In my opinion, one and that's Luck if he comes out. Otherwise, the rest are basically fringe first rounders due to need more than skill sets.

My latest theory is that we will trade up with the Broncos and Take Locker. This makes sense for both teams, because Denver has a QB in Orton and a young guy in Tebow that they have to evaluate before drafting another one. Denver would get more picks which is what they need. I think it would take swapping one's, our number two and next years number one. I know it sounds crazy, but I think with all the success that teams have had drafting young QB's lately thats the price to move up. Hopefully, we at least get some later round draft choices in return.
