Arizona RB Tim Hightower traded to Redskins.skinsfaninok 07-31-2011, 09:43 PM I mean my gosh they aren't Albert Haynesworth or anything...... OH wait rbanerjee23 07-31-2011, 09:45 PM Bums? smh Don't listen to diehard, his avatar is Fat Albert (said the guy with DMac as his avatar) skinsfaninok 07-31-2011, 09:59 PM 23 Rushing TD's in 3 years? Pretty solid rbanerjee23 07-31-2011, 10:02 PM 23 Rushing TD's in 3 years? Pretty solid In an RB by committee system with 65% passing plays during the time he was there (2008-2010) which was third highest in the league for that span Arizona Cardinals Playcalling Trends - Revenge of the Birds (http://www.revengeofthebirds.com/2011/6/13/2221102/arizona-cardinals-playcalling-trends) I think he is really underrated and love the pickup skinsfaninok 07-31-2011, 10:24 PM I've seen many Cards fans pissed about losing him That Guy 07-31-2011, 10:29 PM solid... i imagine torain, helu, and hightower make the cut, and we got brown too. no need for big money on bradshaw etc, big money rbs don't usually get you value. and paying DW over 8mill per would be stupid, especially when he ends up back on IR by miseason. skinsnut 07-31-2011, 10:45 PM Holliday was gunna be a backup, I bet Hightower will be too...but he's like a decade younger AND on a team with no QB passing threat...a CRITICAL need....so...I am LOVING this trade...quite wise....a legit running threat...we could use a legit receiving threat too. If this shows insight to the minds of Shanny and Allen...perhaps they were thinking draft a ton of playmakers RB and WR....and grab one vet playmaker of each to buy us time until they develop...I just don't know if Gaffney is considered enough of a threat as a WR...he certainly doesn't seem to be more of one than our existing Moss....unlike the RB position...therefore, I think our odds of going after a #1 WR have just increased quite a bit. mooby 07-31-2011, 10:49 PM Holliday was gunna be a backup, I bet Hightower will be too...but he's like a decade younger AND on a team with no QB passing threat...a CRITICAL need....so...I am LOVING this trade...quite wise....a legit running threat...we could use a legit receiving threat too. I think this trade will prove to be a good thing for us after this season. We gave up Holliday, who brings leadership to the team but not much else, and the conditional pick all depends on how Hightower performs. If he performs good, the Cards get adequate compensation. If he performs bad, they get minimal compensation. It works out for both sides in the end, especially since Hightower didn't have much of a future in AZ with Ryan Williams and Beanie Wells. GusFrerotte 07-31-2011, 10:50 PM if he comes out of camp uninjured, hightower will be the starting qb week 1. Hilarious!!!!!!!! Chico23231 07-31-2011, 10:54 PM I just hope a couple of these FA bums they've signed will have decent ratings in Madden 12. Same goes for Beck. Why did they draft all those RBs and WRs in the draft again? Looks like they should've targeted some OL and maybe [gasp] a QB!? Yeah me too. Eff that winning sh*t. :frusty: |
