One thing I've thought about today is, I think we should have tried to score a td on that drive. We had it inside the 20 y not just Keep pushing? Like Dallas did.. Idk it's hard to get a grasp on how to feel about a tie

Difference between the 2 is Dallas needed a TD to lock it up. A FG would of won for us. Our FG was 34 yards. Basically an extra point. 94% success rate.

I had no issue with kicking it and going home. Just didn't work out that way

Yeah and if you keep going for the TD everyone would go completely apeshit if you were to loose a fumble.

Sucks to miss a FG like that but it happens.

Agreed 100%, kicking it on 3rd down was a really good call.

That one is just on Hopkins caving under pressure (I have to say about 70% of the 84 488 people in Wembley were booing him pretty hard on his second attempt... you know... the one he miserably failed... the one that cost us the gaaaameeeaaaarg. Sorry).

SMH... you can't just go around cutting guys when they have a bad game. When you have a shit day at work does your boss walk over to you and tell you to pack your bags? Hopkins has been more that solid for us.

It doesn't solve 100% of the problem, but i think it sends the message that "oh shit, i better perform because if I don't, i'm gone". Fire them up so to speak.

I was calling for Cousins head at the beginning of the year because he was playing like garbage and basically losing us games with his backbreaking interceptions. I think he knew that he was on a short leash if it didn't get better and he manned up and look at how good he is doing now.

If nothing else, bring in some FA kickers and work them out at Redskins Park, at least get in Hopkins head that they are looking at his position now and if he starts sucking, he's gone. Some players respond well from pressure like that and someone breathing on their neck, some don't. Not sure which kind hopkins is.

Honestly, I think to get to this level, you pretty much have to dedicate your life to the game. So when you fail, this has to be terrible. Hopkins right now has to feel like sh*t. He knows he lost the game, failing to do the only thing he's being paid for.

I'm really not sure he needs added pressure.

I would agree that bringing the threat of losing your job could be a good tool with, for say, a lazy ass defense not tackling properly.

But right now I think the only pressure Hopkins needs is from himself, and his teammates, saying "Man, we know you're better than that, you lost us one, now win us some".

Negatives:

-Again a non-victory because of a bullet in our foot. So frustrating.

-My voice is broken because redskins fans in London were lazy as f*ck, had to call them out every 3rd down, guys with redskins gear all over their bodies quietly sitting on critical 3rd downs... drove me crazy. I'm starving to attend a game in DC now...

-With the only other "active" redskins fan in my block, we didn't hear the timeout called, we were making fools of ourselves taking a victory selfie singing HTTR...

Positives:

-Now that I witnessed, live, a non-win by this team in the most redskinish way possible, I guess I'm a true fan? Anyway, that was awesome.

-This team is looking great. We have the weapons to win this division, we still may. 546 total yards is really good, on the road, against a not so bad D, hats off.

-IMO Josh Norman actually had a good game. He made an incredible play on AJ Green on a long ball (the one where he seemed to have reinjuried his wrist), he should have had a pick, he often was right in AJ's face on some catches... If you consider he was concussed LAST WEEK, his wrist is weakened, and refs were after him I'd say he had the best game he could have.

-Defense did a really good job, first half was outstanding, held their offense well under 100yards. 2nd half was more difficult, cincy obviously made some efficient adjustments, but our D delivered on crucial moments.

Glad you got to see a worthwhile game...Sorry the ref's were so frieking biased. I have a feeling that tie (non-loss) is gonna end up in our favor somehow.

We still have half a season to play, but you get to savor the memories forever!

Hail!

A tie is like standing in two inches of brown water to relieve yourself in a gas station rest room.

There you have it! Improve in those two areas and we can win more games.
