It didn't "worry" me. I was simply expressing my personal frustration over the fact that Gibbs had not shown more emotion over Belichick's classless display. I understand, and appreciate, Gibbs typical reaction to "rise above" someone like Belichick. But, I truly think the team would have found a new spark if Gibbs had reacted at least a little more aggresively.

Because Gibbs is too much of a classy guy to get into a childish shouting match on the 50 yard line. What would it prove? It has nothing to do with being a pussy and everything to do with having the maturity and class to not bicker on center stage.

i really dont think i need to add anything except i do think they ran the score up on us and as someone once told me what goes around comes around. I was one of these that question the offensive play calling but honestly i am now starting to question the defensive play calling. But it is only one game and we need to put it behind us and get ready to play the Jets.

I think the Pats gave the Skins a chance to keep points off the board and the Skins couldnt do it.

I am 100% certain that if the Skins were 8-0 and crushing opponents like NE is, nobody would have a problem with how they were winning. I know I wouldnt.

LOL interesting way to look at it.

They were running it up, plain and simple. Same way they brought Brady back in to throw a late TD against the Dolphins.

Why do we have to wait when were 40 points down to get Sean Taylor after Brady in the first place?

I agree. I think we should have sent the house when we were down 24-0 at halftime. what is there to lose, another 24 points? I personally would have pressured him all day instead of letting him stand back there, eat his dinner, then throw to welker over the middle all day. But given how bad our asses were getting whipped, you would think he would have said "ok fellas, lets just go after him this second half, lets put Brady on his ass!"

I'll tell u what, i'll be routing for peyton manning and the colts next sunday. I think peyton is a better QB anyway. He never had the benefit of a great defense when he was putting together the record season. Also he wasn't focused on breaking the record and running up the score. It seems to me that Brady and Belichek are trying to get Brady's numbers up in pursuit of that record. Manning actually slowed things down in the second half of the games during that season b/c he was all about winning. I know this because he was on my Fantasy team that year and i was getting pissed when they would run 3 times from the goal line and kick a FG.

The only way they could have stoped running up the score is to start kneeling down on every play because if they ran the ball they moved the chains if they passed they moved the chains. I WHICH WE COULD GET ACCUSED OF RUNNING UP THE SCORE.

No, I can live with a team pounding the ball in that situation and still scoring. But lining up in the shotgun, and going for it on 4th down is running it up.

The guy is an asswipe on and off the field. Cheats on his wife with a secretary, cheats in football by sending his minions to videotape defensive signals, shoves reporters and cameramen and treats anyone who asks him a question like a second class citizen who doesn't deserve his time , and when he's finally caught cheating by the NFL his response is to basically lash out at everyone else like it's THEIR fault he got caught. What a dick.

In my opinion, anyone defending this guy is just demonstrating their own lack of character.

See this is more loser talk. Why do you care if he cheats on his wife? Every single one of my friends has cheated on his wife at some point. Does that mean I'm not going to be friends with them cause they get a piece of ass on the side every once in a while? I don't care and what they do is really not my business.

The guy is paid to win games. Not to be friendly with the media, or be nice to camera men, or make all the fans happy. Let me ask you this. Would you rather have a coach who is an a-hole who wins? Or would you rather have a coach who is nice and is loved by the media but can't win? Personally, I would would rather have the a-hole who wins.

The Pats are a better team/organization than us. But we were also outcoached yesterday. By a mile. So perhaps some of the fans should worry about why we can't score points, rather than cry about why the other coach is a bad guy, or why they ran it up on us.

Please tell what is so classless about Belichick's team kicking our ass yesterday?

Jeeze. I'm not going to repeat the multitude of reasons again. Just read all of the posts and maybe you'll get it...maybe.

I know ESPN and SI and Sportsline have been hyping this game since well before this week, but I'm not sure it's possible to overstate the magnitude of next weeks Colts-Pats game.

These are the two best teams in the league, yes, but they may also be the two best teams of the decade. Incredible offense, incredible defense, and the intricate ST history between these teams.

Additionally, I have no idea who will win this game. You can't really look at point spreads because if Manning and the Colts wanted to run up the score, they easily could score as well as the Pats are.
