Armageddon gets me every time!
Movies that make you cry?number21isabadman 05-06-2009, 04:36 AM Armageddon gets me every time! MTK 05-06-2009, 08:01 AM Quoted the wrong person...was talking about Into the Wild's ending Makes sense now. I was thinking maybe I needed to watch I am Legend again, because the first time around I thought it was pretty average. mredskins 05-06-2009, 08:21 AM The writers did do a good job, but of course they had real-life material to work with. The Ice Storm is an Ang Lee film starring Kevin Kline, Sigourney Weaver, Joan Allen, Cris Cooper, Elijah Wood, Cristina Ricci, Tobey Maguire, and Katie Holmes. Surprisingly as many films as I have seen I have never even heard of this movie never mind seen it. So I noticed it was on Netflix instant watch so I watched it last night. First off Katie H. was just so damn hot in that film, she has a small role and is never naked but still she rocked. Outside of her role of Wednesday on the Adams Family does Christine Ricci ever not play a messed up whore type? See Black Snake Moans. The film was ok and I think American Beauty was inspired by this film. I enjoyed how they captured the seventies. The actual story itself was a little weak IMO. Maybe if I had seen it in 1997 it would have been "new" too me but at this point the dysfunctional family drama has been beaten like a dead horse. See Rachael is Getting Married for the latest version. Now for a movie that made me cry. If you have kids watch Kramer vs. Kramer I bet you tear up. It is a very powerful movie. BDBohnzie 05-06-2009, 10:15 AM The usual. Rudy, Saving Private Ryan, Steel Magnolias, Forrest Gump, Field of Dreams... Glory gets me too. If With Honors wasn't such a bad movie, I probably would have shed a tear. And Hotel Rwanda would have made me cry had I not known about the scene already...
