Movies that make you cry?JoeRedskin 04-29-2009, 11:16 PM I never cry in movies... however, sometimes my eyes sweat. hooskins 04-29-2009, 11:21 PM I actually quite frequently get pulled at the heart strings during movies but not cry. Even in cheesy chick flicks. But some documentaries have made me near cry with some of the crap that people have to deal with. It is out of control. But I guess a lot of the motivational movies can do that too. jamf 04-29-2009, 11:25 PM I've never cried but I've been close! The Notebook almost got me. I don't know if it's because the ending was sad or if it's because I was on a date and I actually thought I was going to get some that night. Wait, does 2 girls 1 cup count? I cried when I saw that. jamf 04-29-2009, 11:34 PM My dad cried at the end of Philadelphia. jamf 04-29-2009, 11:38 PM Million Dollar Baby was also pretty sad. GMScud 04-29-2009, 11:40 PM I've never cried but I've been close! The Notebook almost got me. I don't know if it's because the ending was sad or if it's because I was on a date and I actually thought I was going to get some that night. Wait, does 2 girls 1 cup count? I cried when I saw that. LMAO!!! 2 girls 1 cup didn't make me cry, but the first 20 seconds made me dry heave, and the mental images haunted me for days. (I said 20 seconds because the video clip didn't last longer than that before I was standing up and walking towards the toilet in anticipation of possible vomit). EARTHQUAKE2689 04-29-2009, 11:52 PM every time i see the ending of the 1980 us hockey team beating ussr I know its not a movie but that gets me every time djnemo65 04-29-2009, 11:58 PM How about Aragon at the end of Return of the King. "A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!" The Wrestler was another recent one that got me, as was Gran Torino. dmek25 04-30-2009, 07:46 AM I've never cried but I've been close! The Notebook almost got me.
